Don't see how they can blame this on eBay... their direct URL's to the images are down. That's an internal Vendio server problem... NOT an eBay problem.
This has been going on for about an hour now... I'm still waiting for the "immediate" fix... and I think it's time we start getting offered some compensation. This is not the way to do business.

I spent 1/2 the day trying to get my computer back up to par. Finally did it and now this. Think I'll just go watch a movie or something.

They've locked the other thread!!! I guess they don't want us to complain any more to them!!!
It's time for some financial compensation. I figure I'm losing at least $10-20 in bids every hour the images are down. Probably more during a prime time like this. We deserve better than this!

I got to get this stuff listed today so I will go back to using that free service It seems to be working right now. Vendeo will not even let me upload any images right now! It says my image is causing an error
Below is the free service I was using. But be aware they have image problems also! I do not think any service is perfect but I would expect better service from a company I am paying!

Now they just posted that they don't have an ETA... but that it will be after their previously posted 3:30 estimate due to some issues they've run into. ARGH!!

Oh, No! I am inundated with emails from potential bidders - its not like I can do a direct reply in all cases and attach photos because of the infamous "use the yellow button" method of contact.

We should all be given either some kind of refund for loss of business on eBay, or a free listing day to compensate for all the viewers that pass on our auctions since they can't see the pics.
That would only be fair.

Here's the latest update from them. Guess what it's still not fixed. No kiding!!!!!!!
Update: 3:30 pm.
We are still in the process of troubleshooting the technical issue that is affecting the image hosting system. We hope to have this resolved shortly, but the initial estimate of 3:30 pm has been extended. We will post updates here as we get them. Thank you for your patience. We understand that image hosting is a critical function and we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

I am having a huge problem with vendio photos showing up on ebay. I have alot of auctions ending and there are absolutely no images showing up. The administrators of vendio are conveniently on vacation until Tuesday, while I am losing $300 to $400 of income because of this problem.

But of course, I have a high dollar no reserve listing ending in about an hour (the golden hour) and no images...I can only imagine how much I will lose, thanks Vendio!!!!

Yep, same here. But they pulled a double wammy on me. Not only is the image hosting all screwed up but they screwed me on my monthly Vendio bill for last month. They are charging me a FVF for a bunch of store listing's I cancled (as in not sold). All I got from my email to vendio was a canned response that was not even close to covering the problem I am having. Guess they are hard up for money and figure they can scam me on my bill.

I wouldn't count on anyone getting any kind of reimbursment for their outage. Bellow is a copy of their user agreement, in particular the section dealing with their liability.
6.2. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability.
(a) Vendio provides its services "as is" and "as available" and, except as expressly set forth in this Agreement disclaims all other warranties, whether written, oral, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Vendio will not be liable due to outages caused by the failure of public network or communications components or errors in any electronic files provided by Vendio. Vendio makes no representation or warranty that the operation of Vendio's site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and Vendio will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors. No advice or information from Vendio, whether oral or written, shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the Terms of Use.
(b) Limitation of Liability.
Neither Vendio nor its suppliers will be liable for (i) any loss of business, profits or goodwill, loss of use or data, interruption of business or for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any character, (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this agreement even if Vendio or its supplier is aware of the possibility of such damages, or (ii) any damages that result in any way from your use or inability to use Vendio services, or that result from errors, defects, omissions, delays in operation or transmission, or any other failure of performance of the Vendio services. Our liability, and the liability of our suppliers, to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the greater of (a) the amount of fees you pay to us in the 6 months prior to the action giving rise to liability, or (b) $100. This limitation applies notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose remedy and to the fullest extent permitted by law.

My pictures are showing,I got flocked with messages about no images and was not aware until now kind of glad though I was not watching as my listing due to close tonight . Hope it stays up. Thank goodness
