Its simple... Its free... and its your option! Name one host that is as simple as auctionwatch? AuctionWatch is a saint for some, and we say "BRAVO". I would like to say this most of all..
Thank you auctionWatch for offering me this free service, and for being so kind to your users!
To the ones hissing at auctionWatch... go to another until you feel auctionWatch is up to your standards!

I love auctionwatch.I can't believe there is such a thing anymore thats as valuable and FREE as auctionwatch. I am a person that suspects everything and likes even less. I say that to validate my point about how GOOD this Free service is.

I just spent 6 horrible days making long distant phone calls to Blackthorne software.I spent $70 for Auction Assistant Classic,a simple and easy way to list on e-bay. Boy was I wrong. I also made numerous calls to my ISP to find out why my pictures would not load on e-bay. The auctions did not sell, because there were no images After 6 days of hours on the telephone I asked for a refund of the $70 software, which they agreed to. Tonight I found this web site and loaded 5 auctions with no problems, for free. I repeat for free and no long distance telephone calls either. It was so easy too Be grateful.

I suppose this has already been said somewhere here, but doesn't anyone remember the old adage "You Get What You Pay For"?

You pay for nothing and you should really expect nothing. Which is basically what a lot of you are getting off and on from AW.

It doesn't take much to put an image on an auction. A few html brackets that are easily learned, a scanner or camera to create the picture, and a little server space.

Any trained gorilla can learn the proper html after a few attempts. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can. Anyone can get work a scanner or a camera. And almost every ISP or dial-up service allots you some server space for your own use. Or you can use some of the other free web space services (though you have a greater chance of losing your photos with many of them, since they have often have rules against remote loading files).

Either figure out how to do it yourself or quit complaining about something that you aren't paying for. It's the same thing with all the complaints about the x.com banners...either go in and edit the banners out of your auctions yourself so you don't have to deal with the attendant problems, or move on to a more reliable site which force you to doesn't advertise someone else's products and services. Personally, I want as few pictures loading as possible in my auctions, since the longer it takes, the quicker someone will move on to the next auction.

Again, remember...You Get What You Pay For.

I love auctionwatch and xcom I know that in this world sometimes a site has to do maintainence and I would like to see the phone lines less packed at xcom but these guys are tops
I made the mistake of getting invloved with e commerce exchange and credit cards dot com to process my cards and they are in my opinion the worst operation on the net., please don't mix up the good guys and the cruds, last year we paid sphere virtual services for an e maill campaign that never happened, But by far the worst possible experience for a seller is quick commerce e commerce exchange and the other name credit cards dot com

I love auctionwatch and xcom!

Just like the rest of the responses, IT'S FREE service! Ok, its noted that they have failure but for the services and information that AW provide, the FREE service overrules the failure. Im still new with AW, but after checking around what AW have to offer, I learned lots of helpful stuff already for such short time instead of having experience teaching me the hard way. For users not happy with the service, maybe its more appropriate to voice out constructive suggestions instead of complaining.
