Faststone Image Viewer is the one I mentioned.
I understand about using a more pro program like photoshop but for simple needs which most ebayers need I have to stand by Faststone

stacyp I just downloaded the Faststone free image program and tried it out to see about that batch (doing more than one image at a time) process. It is amazingly easy to do several things at one time. I am a Paint shop pro die hard it has batch stuff as does my Photoshop program but the Fast Stone is truely amazingly easy and the instructions are very easy read.
Since I am a PSP die hard I will still be using it for corrections etc on image but I am definately going to use Faststone for renaming and resizing and rotating from now on for sure but will stick with my PSP for other tasks. Mainly because I know the program and have it set up for quick fix on color adjustments etc. I have used it for so long I already know what parameter etc will fix certain problems.
I have so many image editing programs but always wind up back in PSPro due to ease of use. Also learning curve is not as bad as my other programs like Photoshop, Corel Paint, I also have another esay program called Ulead Paint or something like that which is fun to play with. BUT you can't beat the free programs mentioned in this thread......
Stacy did you see the instructions I put on your other thread in merchandising edition -Thread like this one? You seemed lost at finding that program you installed. Go look at your other thread.

Everyone always recommends Photoshop. How many people have actually paid $400.00 for a legal copy of Photoshop?
My Corel Photopaint is old, but it's legal. And if I want to do Photoshop-esque edits, I use GIMP, an open-source FREE tool that does most of what Photoshop does.
It just kills me to think of how many people buy software for hundreds of dollars, when equally good free and open-source software is available.

I have a legal copy. Years ago I purchased a high scanner which came bundled with Photoshop 3.1 (on floppies) I have been upgrading ever since then. I usually skip a generation. I took a course at my local community college in Photoshop 5. There was a big jump from 5 to 5.5 when they included Image Ready which allows you complete control as to file size and photo size. Then again in CS (version 8) they incorporated many features from illustrator into Photoshop (mostly the ability to work with curves). So yes I have a legal registered copy of Photoshop and it was worth everything I paid for it (upgrade fees).

I was only kidding, I too paid for it and have been getting paid upgrades since 5.0. Currently use CS2, and sometimes 7, when I need an action I don't have for CS2. CS2 is awesome. It's also overkill for Ebay, but I use it for real photography mostly, and only sometimes for a few Ebay auctions.

Photoshop Elements can be legally purchased at a reasonable price (< $100), and has more than enough capability for anything you're going to do on eBay. As a nice bonus, it now (as of V3, I think) has been merged with Adobe Album, and you can keep track of your family digital photos very easily.

How about $5? I bought a second-hand copy with serial number then phoned Adobe to confirm it wasn't registered - best bargain I ever got in a recycle shop.
Over the years I did get several 'free' updates as part of the Adobe beta testing program. ('Free' as in months of unpaid testing and venting expletives at the occasional lost file.)

"How many people have actually paid $400.00 for a legal copy of Photoshop?"
ME ME! (Waving my hand in the air) Actually paid a lot more than $400 over the years. Still have the floppy with Photoshop 2 and have had EVERY upgrade since. I agree that the full feature program is more than anyone needs for eBay but it is awesome and even after all these years of using it and even teaching it at the college level I know there are levels and features I still do not use.
I taught my sister (very computer phobic) to use Photoshop Elements for online sales and am about to teach my best friend to use it with her new digital camera. Even it is more than needed for eBay/web sales.
By the way did Stacyp (OP) ever get the information asked for? Seems the thread is now about different graphics programs and I hope she (I assume) got the information needed to resize the photos.

I would love to know how they did the picture in a picture or Pop Out effect on this. I don't have Adobe 6.0 or I would buy the darn thing! There was another seller that had essentially the same thing but higher priced but I can't find their auctions just now. They had better pictures - it showed a race car.
