OK AW...this is getting REALLY frustrating...how many of you sellers are tired of paying for a service that doesn't deliver. I'm like the person who posted a few posts ago...this is NOT a hobby for me either...it's what buys my families food!!! If any one knows another auction manager program that actually WORKS please email me at [email protected] I'm getting tired of this and it is costing me money and lots of time. Last week I had to relist my 60 auctions to be 5 day auctions instead of 7 day auctions...and you can only do that one at a time...took me a LONG time...time that I could have been scheduling auctions...oh well...I have spent much too long writing this...it obviously doesn't do any good!!

I'd like to know why AW is not responding to any of our comments. Please let us know what's going on! Will out auctions get listed tonight or will we all end up with errors as we did last week?

well, i'm canceling my auctions now, its been almost an hour, i'm not waiting any longer. AW had better do something to seriously fix this problem. I sell stuff on ebay for extra money, we are loosing our home right now, and the few thousand we have saved from ebay are the only thing that is going to keep us off the street, and put food on the table for my brothers and sisters. I took a few weeks of over christmas from selling, and i had hoped this problem would have been resolved for the new year, but apparently it still hasn't. And I too would appreciate an email recommending any other services, but oh, maybe i shouldn't say that, last time i said anything about other services AW deleted my post.

What I really think needs to happen is for AW to step up and make a policy for such occasions. I think they have to assume we schedule our auctions with certain goals in mind. When they alter our plans with lengthy delays, it very likely hurts us financially. It's commonsense that I don't want my auctions ending at 1 or 2 AM in the morning on the East Coast, but then why is Auctionwatch willing to launch my auctions hours late without flinching?
I certainly don't want to have to sit here each Sunday night and monitor my auctions to make sure they launch near the time I scheduled. I think since this service is no longer free, that we have reasonable expecations of a certain level of service. I, for example, would like AW automatically to cancel scheduled launchs that are over two hours late in launching. That way I am back in control of the launching process and can reschedule them for when I want them to launch. It seems to me that we make a certain bargain with AW each time we schedule an auction for launch. Sure, I don't mind a few minutes late, but the delays last week and this week are intolerable. I think there needs at the very least some definitions given to what is considered a "late" launch, and if those parameters can't be met, then there needs to either cancellations, refunds, or some other form of recompense given, perhaps some free future listings ? Last week I unscheduled 40 auctions, one at a time, luckily I decided to only schedule a few for tonight. The process of unscheduling auctions is tedious.Perhaps some software that would allow us to Undo all our scheduled auctions, with one visit to the Auction Manager page is necessary? That would help, last week it took me an hour to Undo 40 Auctions, and I have a broadband connection. I pity the fellow with only dial up access attempting such a task. When are you going to create a policy ?
