I think I would be inclined to substitute a photo of a filthy, crusty meth lab scale. Something really nasty and dirty.
Here's one of my favorite replaced stolen photos. The listing was for a pair of pants. (And yes, I stole this photo.)

He closed the listing. Check out his other listings for the same item. It may ALSO contact your fotos. They look like the same picture!

He listed another one today it is not at all like his last one I think he got the message.
It is a dead giveaway when you see an image with the little camera icon on it in the listing usually means they took it from an auction that displayed the image in ebay's display box. He probably now saves the image and uploads it to ebay or he may be taking them from ebay who knows.
Tom now is time to turn him in he can't edit a closed auction and ebay will see he took and stole your url and see that images are not his. Hum wonder what ebay thinks of owners of images substituting tacky pictures on the auctions even if it is sending a message. Would be my luck they (ebay)would go after me instead of the thief.
