I am so sorry to hear about his death. I am glad he got to know his granddaughter and that he had family with him.

Very sad news! He has been and will be missed on this board. I am glad he had the opportunity to enjoy his granddaughter and to spend his last days with a loving family. Rest in peace, Sparkz.

To any who interacted with Sparkz over the years, this is very sad news. Sparkz was always helpful and kind to all. I'm sure he will be missed - even by those who knew little about him.

Thanks for the update ..albeit it was not good news.

I appreciated Sparkz posts and had wandered how he was doing. He was missed and will be missed. My memories of Sparkz are all good.
YES, some of us do care.
I think he cared also.

I have never understood people who are seemingly always "angry". Some are even "angry" if others do not share their negativity.

I hope I never become that type of human being,I genuinely do.

Life can be only understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

In memory of Sparkz:

We all know he found the light instead of the train............

Maybe I should include Vendio in my Five Wishes..

Now we know after weeks of searching. No more signing on & hoping to see a post from Sparkz.
I always feared the worst, he wouldn't just leave Vendio unless he had to, not Sparkz.

I'm glad he had the love & comfort of his family & new granddaughter & the love & concern of all of us at Vendio who missed him so much.

ewora, thank you for finding him & letting us know. I think we all needed closure.

Jane

Oh damn. We will certainly miss his wise postings. He was a kind man and will live on in the memory of some of us. It's always this way: I can think of a hundred total jerks I'd throw in for one Sparkz.

ewora: I misread your post here and mistakenly (it's late!) wrote to you, thinking you were sparkz's daughter. Could you please forward my message to his daughter? Thanks.

ewora, bless you. Your post wasn't confusing. I was distracted!

It would be wonderful for someone to point Sparkz's family to this thread so they can see how much we care.

I will miss his posts: "Heads up, roadsmith; storm headed your way."

I sent his daughter a link to this thread yesterday. It should warm her heart to see how well loved he was and how much he will be missed.

what struck me - reading over past forum posts where Sparkz wrote - http://tinyurl.com/36425w was (1) he had a tremendous love for his wife and I quote: "I can still remember the night I gave my wife her engagement ring as if it were yesterday." Isn't that the sweetest thing? (2) He had just as much love for the rest of his family. (3) He always made everybody laugh here. (4) He always gave the best advice.

You can go back over the google pages and you can see over and over again - LOL Sparkz!

6434 Vendio posts.

I was saddened upon reading that Sparkz had passed. He posted on this board long before I came onto the scene. I enjoyed his posts and respected his opinions. I am sure he was and will be missed.
