I got an invitation from eBay last night to complete this survey. I'm going to try to post the link here. Maybe if we can all answer they'll get the message!

Maybe it's because I completed the survey and that address was specifically assigned to me. Sorry guys, thought we could really make it count! But if you get one, make sure to respond. It came to my name not my Seller ID.

I hate to rain on your parade since you sound so hopeful, but you do know that nobody at eBay actually reads individual surveys, right?
The reason why these things are so rigidly structured is that the results are tabulated by an independent research firm, and then most likely massaged in such a way to make it seem like a good idea for eBay to hire that company again in the future.
You have almost no chance of being heard via a survey. Not even if you get a dozen of your closest friends to participate. Sorry.

And of course, they send it to pretty much everyone. A part time seller that sells 2 items a month has as much value in this survey as someone like me who sells a couple of thousand items in that time. It is all very irrelevant. It would be more useful if they divided it into if someone is a buyer, a seller, and then what kind of seller (i.e. volume) they are.

In a previous life, I helped high tech companies write and conduct market research studies. One of the weirdest campaigns I've witnessed was about 2 years ago when eBay asked me to participate in a very biased 'buyer's experience' survey. It was slanted to justify eBay Express, which came out shortly afterwards.
