Good point, Antiquary.
My favorite Virginia Woolf character is Lily.

BTW, good story, Spaz. Now I know that when I go out and buy that $200 car, everything will be okay.

Helen, the character of Flush is also fascinating.
The link below is an interesting visual interpretation of To the Lighthouse that you might enjoy:

Me too, Helen!
I discovered those online works when searching for work and material on Georgia Okeefe, a favorite, some time ago. One of the delights of the internet, you just never know what you will inadvertently discover.

Yes, I believe in angels, and if this thread had been started by someone else I'd share my story. As it is, I'd rather not open myself up to ridicule.
What I can't believe is that someone would actually say they would rather die in a car accident than be flanked by angels.

Hey! Where is your sense of humor?
Do I need to add a little smiley face after
every word that I type?
When I said that I would rather die in a
traffic accident than be flanked by angels, I was just joking.
I have no hope or fear that I will ever be flanked by an angel either human or ethereal.
Get a grip!

I believe in angels, spirit guides, ghosts, and spirits. But I don't believe that the picture posted by krs is an angel. Maybe a ghost... but not an angel.

And furthermore, you may post your story
here without fear of ridicule.
If you read this entire thread, you will
find that I have not ridiculed anybody about
their belief in angels. It is aganist my
scruples, which I do have in abundance, not
to ridicule religion or anything possibly related to religion. That includes angels.

Wow, that's a really cool story! That's amazing!
So, they don't have any idea who even painted the original of that painting, regardless of where her camera actually traveled?

Antiquary, We had no problems to speak of. All my papers fell off of my computer [but they didn't belong there anyway] and one little porcelain item hit the floor a bit too hard but otherwise nothing. We are all safe here! My animals were frightened.
