I dont know. I had some funny visions shortly before my heart attack. If I were a true believer I guess I could call them angels.

I had a flat tire once and a guy in a towtruck magically appeared and fixed it. I had never seen the guy before that, or the towtruck either for that matter, and I've never seen either since either.

I've often wondered if that could have been either an angel towtruck driver or an angel towtruck.

Now, Spaz, you were saying.....?

When I was just a little kid my mother took my sister and I to a furniture store. Mom told us to sit on a sofa in the showroom while she went to speak with a salesperson. My sister, who was an even littler kid, began to jump on the sofa and somehow dislodged a mirror that was hanging on the wall over our heads. It fell and shattered. I was okay but my sister was cut over the eye and we all had to go to the hospital.
She got some stitches and a bandage.

The next day a lawyer, whom she'd never met, called my mom and told her that she could sue the store. A few months later she bought a new car. It was white with huge fins.

Well, I liked your story, Spaz. It would have made a great scene in a Frank Capra movie. And I like your story too, krs, and yours too, xardon!

Thank you Antiquary! It's great to be able to chat again...I've been "speechless" for so long. It goes against my nature, you know.

I had a cat named Wilbur who rolled over like a dog when I told him to, AND NOBODY EVER TRAINED HIM!!

I often wondered if Wilbur was an angel until he got squished by a car.

Yes, that's what guardian angels do, isn't it, Antiquary?

I was very comfortable with the notion of guardian angels until I reached puberty. I reorganized my fantasy life at that time and became uneasy at the thought of a conflict of interest. To save us both from likely emabarrassment and needless reproach I modified our contract. I retained a consultancy option so as not to completely end the relationship and to insure availability on a need basis. It's worked well for both of us.

That's somewhat similar to what I did, and at about the same stage of life. I established a retainer contract whereby angels have been sent to me on an as needed basis throughout the years and still are today. This has been a heavenly arrangement for the most part, and it seems that as the years go by each successive angel is nearer heaven than the one before.

If angels exist someone should give them a map and compass and send them to Africa, they sure could use some there. Susan Smith's kids could have used one too.

Or do they only show up at car accidents where the occupants had their seat belts on?

Xardon, you have quite an incredible mind and a fantastic way with words. And all this time I thought you were just incredibly hunky.

I don't agree with a lot of what you say, but you still intrigue me. Ahhh... love is blind.
