Great idea, Fluff! Sadly, I can't wear earrings anymore. Even silver earrings hurt my ears. The just go out naked.

You want to know something? I can't wear earrings any more, either. But these are pretty little things.
As sure as shootin' someone's going to say this thread is off-topic, but the relevance to the eBay Outlook is this:
If you sell on eBay and have been thinking of putting up a web site or have a site that isn't doing much for you, here's an example of how to use eBay affiliate links to generate some income without having to buy, list, pick, pack or ship anything at all. Even if you don't want the free jewelry.
You don't even have to be a seller to benefit. You can use such a web site to promote other peoples' listings and still make money.
BTW Fluffy - great website and great concept. I have been curious about how this works. Do you get the fees back on your own items? Does it count for a whole visit (if I click on "see sellers other items" and buy something do you get the credit or do I have to enter again through your site?)

Depending on how much volume you channel to eBay during the month, you get at least 50% of eBay's revenue ( aka "the fees" ) and possibly more. It's a tier system.
If you manage to channel $3 million in fees to eBay in a month you get 70% of that. I'm not holding my breath!
It used to be that you couldn't put an affiliate link for your own items, but that has changed.
As long as you go to eBay from my site, either through a search box, text ad, image ad, whatever, a cookie is created that lives for seven days (I think). So I'm just as happy if you bid on other peoples' stuff. It's all the same from an affiliate point of view.

I do not see how to:
You come to clearanceclarence.com. Under the Clarence Club heading, sometimes it will say: "Join Clarence Club now and get your A-class gift: A pair of genuine sterling silver cubic zirconia stud earrings. Quantities are limited, so email us your name and shipping address. And hurry!" When the A-class gifts are gone for the day, we'll say so. One A-class gift per person, email address or shipping address please.
sooooo.... Clarence Clearance Club is not set up for this 'club' yet?

That used to be the explanation for the giveaway. My Aunt Betty said the original text was too wordy, so now when you come to the home page it just says "Free Sterling Silver Jewelry". When you send me email requesting the jewelry, you're enrolled in the Club. No dues, no weird membership rituals, no unsolicited email from us.
The CZ studs are the A-class gift.
Yikes, I've been writing so much HTML today that I just tried to Ctrl-S this page to save it.

If you want to get started as an affiliate in a quick and simple-to-understand way, eBay is promoting their Refer A Friend program.
You send a special email to up to 10 friends, and for every one who registers on eBay and lists something, you earn $5. Your friend's first three listings are free (no matter the starting price) and they get free Gallery upgrades for those listings.
Look, guys. eBay spends about $475 million on sales and marketing every quarter. (Not every year!) This is one of their many marketing programs.

so - do we enter daily or not? or are my free earrings on their way to me?
BTW at first I could only get up to the bush on the spamAlot game and couldn't find the freaking bush. It's over on the far right hand side and looks like it has a zipper on it. You go back to the same bush for however many times you need it or until the castle gets blown up.
