Fluff, thanks for the great idea. I've placed stamp related ebay links in all my Vendio store descriptions. It is quite difficult doing anything to that Vendio store, as we are limited in available space.
Further, as I've mentioned in the past, Vendio already has affiliate links attached to all our ebay URLs.
I'm going to BANS instead - include my ebay store on it, and also include links to/from the Vendio store.

Bill, I've downloaded BANS and read the documentation but I doubt I'll have time to do much with it very soon.
So I'll be interested in hearing about your experiences.
I have several hundred domains and could B.A.N.S. for each of them with a very small investment of money.
Do you know anyone who's had success with BANS?

I wish I could say that it was me. No, I do not.
However, many years ago when I was recovering from my heart attack, I put something similar together as a village. The URL was gullbay.com.
Gullbay is an isolated small bay, located on Lake George in upstate NY. The idea at that time was a shopping portal, with daily stories concerning life there.
Never finished it. Went back to school, had another attack...and, the rest is history.

By the bye, the authors of BANS recommend Hostgator for hosting accounts.
I would not recommend Hostgator to anyone, even people I dislike deeply. I think it's run out of this guy Ray B.'s spare bedroom in Houston. At least he's the guy I keep getting when I press the Live Help button.
Just getting them to initiate a simple "Baby" account was an hour-long ordeal with their software repeatedly refusing my debit card, no matter what Live Help suggested. Finally I got through it specifying PayPal as a payment method, fully expecting it to be a subscription payment like other companies do.
No, Hostgator can't be bothered with that. What you must do (and they don't tell you) is go to their billing page, look into your crystal ball and find the password they've assigned you (but haven't informed you of) and initiate payment from there.
Hostgator is recommended for BANS because they will let you set up as many domains as you want for $9.95 a month on the Baby account.
The savings is not worth the aggravation. I'm going with my regular ISP instead.

Hi Fluffy, Thank you for the great earrings! The Posties bent them a little but since they were 'good' they straightened right out and are so sparkly and pretty. I'll be watching for the 'B' group and for some things to buy.

You are most welcome. B group won't appear until the end of September as we are leaving in a few days on our annual cruise.
I have heard various reports on receipt of the A pieces. Some came through okay, some were slightly bent, some were totally obliterated. One of my first tasks on return will be to come up with a foolproof yet cost-effective way to ship. It's a real challenge.

Hey fluffy hope you're happy on the Lido deck by now Toast one for me!
I got mine! Thanks they are really pretty!
One was under the category of obliterated and one was fine - although both the posts were bent - no biggy.
The cz was out of one completely (due to crushing) but I put it back in.
Ready for the B group!
Thanks again.

I'm sending out a second round of the same earrings -- packed differently and hopefully better --when I get back. I ran out of time to finish the mailing.

fluffmeistress ... just in case you're keeping track, a neighbor of mine got hers (said one had a bent post but she was able to fix it), a friend of the family said she got hers, loves 'em, and wanted to know when B-class would be up (so i told her), and me, i haven't received mine yet.
and they all mention how pretty all your jewelry is, as they're looking around at all your sites and links.

Fluffy - Don't want to rain on anyone's parade here, but aren't you just an affiliate of Silver Jewelry Club and the free jewelry is coming from them and not you? They're giving away the free jewelry and you're making a money as their affiliate? Just wondered since your link for free jewelry takes you to Silver Jewelry Club's website. I've gotten some things from there in the past.

well my envelope came from Fluffy along with the business card and letter. BTW Fluffy you have a error in the letter. It should be receive and not received.
fluffy - don't send me another pair of earrings - I fixed mine fine. I just thought you would want to know how the USPS handles the packages - or not - as the case may be.
Maybe tape a couple of peanuts on the card? One on each side?

I would hope that she is an affiliate of the Silver Jewelry Club. But then, I doubt that she would put the club on her site without an affiliate relationship.

Then where's the link for the free earrings? I wanted to get a pair for my daughter and found the only free jewelry link now is the SJC. Been there, done that.

You need to wait for the 'B' series of free jewelery as she mentioned above. If she puts a Styrofoam peanut on each side then it would have to be mailed as a 'flat' and cost twice as much postage. I think it is pretty generous to mail out free jewelry in the first place with no handling charges!!

Well, seeing as I'm sitting in a Japanese hotel in L.A. this morning, I'd have a hard time mailing out free jewelry from here, or from the cruise ship. And I'm pretty sure I said the FREE offers coming from us would always be for a limited time only.
So there are links to other free jewelry offers in the interim, not just SJC but others as well. They aren't as good a deal as us, since they charge shipping and we don't but it's something to consider while we're gone.
I recently sold some SJC jewelry for a profit on eBay, even taking into account their $5.98 s/h fee.
