I signed up on the 7th & still don't have any. I figured they wouldn't appear over the weekend, but this is ridiculous.
I guess I'll sign again and see if it takes this time.

THIS IS THE STORY !!!
yahoo is giving out free dollar credits to be used for only feature auctions. you can get these by ebay or amazon feedback. for ever feedback positive, they will give you one point dollar. example if you have 100 feedback, they will give you 100 dollars points. after you sign up, they will confirm at ebay or amazon that your statement is true on your feedback, then they will e-mail you a day or two later, and ask to confirm your e-mail once again, when you do this, they will place your feedback under auction area of your home auctions under options, then under bill summary, when you put in your key pass code , you will recieve your credit to your account. that is really nice of yahoo, but here is the main problem, after 24 hours of just a test run, i placed 13 auctions under feature area first page, each auction is 30% to 50% off the retail value, and new with certificates as well, and free shipping in u.s.a. but i got total on all 13 auctions under star trek items only 3-5 hits combined. (the problem is they don't have the traffic at yahoo anymore) where they went is up to each opinion of each seller, but that is the facts.
this year is a wake up call...

I received an email Monday to confirm my address. I got an email this morning that said my account had been credited. I can't get in there now to check it though.

After you applioed for the credits, you should have received an E-mail that asked for you to confirm your E-mail address used on E-bay or Amazon along with your user ID there!

I received two letters and confirmed on both of them!

I sent a second reply to Yahoo again on the second one from Sabrina who requested the information the third time!

Today I receive a confirmation from Karin that the 583 feedback from My E-bay account was credited!

I never have received a letter from them after I applied for the credits. I just went back and filled out the form again. Hope I hear something this time..

I applied on Oct. 6th when toyranch posted this thread, and I've heard nothing back. I applied again yesterday, but my "Check My Current Balance" still says "Could not access db. Site temporarily down or bad userID." Yahoo quit sending me auction and feedback emails a couple months ago, so I don't expect I'll ever get an "email to confirm" from them.

granee..You signed up the 6th and haven't heard anything yet. How come Yahoo has quit sending you notices? Is there a preference thingy you checked to stop them from coming? I've been able to access my account, but there's no credits there. Hope we hear something soon. Good Luck!

OK, I signed up for a Wallet, and filled in the form to get my credits, now WHERE DO I FIND MY WALLET? Why is it so hard to find things on Yahoo!

amber:...To find your Wallet, look in my purse...heehee...Just kidding.

Go to your auction page, click on "Account Info", then close to the bottom of the page on the right hand side, click on "Wallet" Hope this helps.

If you have Yahoo Wallet setup?

This is how I finally got a balance to show under "OPTIONS-BILLING SUMMARY"!

Since I had never featured an auction!

I went to one of my active auctions and clicked on one closing in three days!

I clicked on "FEATURE THIS AUCTION" and placed a $0.10/day bid! My account was charged $0.38 for the on going auction and a statement appeared!

I sent a follow up E-mailto: (third one)

[email protected]

Next day credits were there with another notification that my account had been credited for my feed back ratings on E-bay!

I had sent for credits prior to the post here on AW!

It was also noted on the TSZ and listed on the Yahoo Auctions Home page!

Hope this helps!

Toyranch's efforts are appreciated!

Maybe I need to go and try again. Perhaps something happened with the mail or something. Hmmmm.... Ouch!
I went and applied the day that this thread was started, so I would think they should be there.

Going to run over there and try again...

The biggest problem with Yahoo is their non-existant customer service. We signed up for our credits a week ago and have heard nothing from Yahoo.

Does anyone know some email addresses that I can use to compain? I hate sites with no contact info.

Update! I got my Featured Auction Credits today. Took (6) days to get them. They responded to one of the emails I sent them, not from the form I filled out. Here's the email address I sent my letter to [email protected] Good luck to the rest of you, I hope you get yours soon.

MANY MANY thanks for starting this thread, Toy!

I wouldn't have known about this at all if you hadn't posted it, and I really appreciate it that you took the time to do that!

Got my credit today, and have happily been listing & spending it! Incidently, I made a sale on something I had featured, about 5 minutes after featuring it. HMMMM. Looks like featuring is effective at this point. I had planned to start featuring some items anyway, but unfortunately we can't pay for featuring with our PayDirect balances and my credit card is currently maxed- so the whole featuring idea went down the drain until now. There doesn't seem to be any way to send a money order to pay for featuring either, at least not that I have been able to find- but if anyone knows of a way to do that please post it!! thanks!!

WOW! Another one of my newly featured items just sold within an hour of listing.

I used to have this happen regularly when I first started using "first bid wins" in my auctions- I'd list a bunch of stuff and a bunch would always sell on the first day, and I'm talking about stuff that WASN'T featured. That hasn't happened to me in a good long time though. When everyone starts featuring everything I have a feeling this too, may pass...but I'll sure enjoy it while it lasts, and in the meantime it IS bringing my sell-through percent up, up, UP!

Are you guys having the same results I hope?

Wow! I emailed [email protected] yesterday afternoon and this morning they had credited my account. I was amazed at the speed of the response. They were great enough to give the credit for my current feedback even though I honestly gave them the number that I used at the time I first requested credit.
Time to go list!

Toyranch....Just want to thank you for mentioning the feature auction credits. Got my 536 feature auction $$$. I've been listing on Yahoo for a while, but never used Feature Auctions because I'm too frugal.

Anyway last night used a couple of feature credit $$$ and listed two auctions, both were first bid wins. One sold within 1 1/2 hours, the other within 12 hours. Interestingly the one that closed within 1 1/2 hours had been previously listed on eBay starting at $9.99 with no reserve and a $7 shipping fee, and received NO bids. Listed it on Yahoo at $25 with seller paying shipping.

I'm getting to like Yahoo more than eBay.
