We sing 4-part barbershop. One of our most requested packages was the do-wop. $200 - $250 for a 20 - 30 minute entertainment package. Our song package includes the popular Love Potion Number 9, In The Still of the Night, and Mr. Sandman plus many others.

That's not Multnomah Falls (which is only about 10 miles from where I live)

Aboard Crystal Symphony, September 2007.

We're cruisin' fools for 2008. After booking (and paying for!) our May cruise to Alaska, the family inveigled us into a November cruise to Hawaii. So in all we'll spend 26 days on the water this year. If this is what retirement is like, it's too rich for me.

Fluffy,

We're cruising too; tomorrow to be precise, to the Southern Caribbean. We haven't cruised in a decade, when we did Alaska, which was very good (and like your trip, took some paying!).

This cruise, we had just come back from Rome, and Sarah (my dear wife) said that she just couldn't countenance going back to work without a vacation to look forward to. We discussed alternatives, and the ease of having someone feed us while they transported us from beach to beach was appealing.

My soon-to-be 18-year old, bless him, opted out. A quote: "Dad, I thought you were OVER cruises."

OK, here is a more recent photograph. This is one of the highlights of our 2006 trip to visit camera obscuras in the UK. It was taken on the deck of Outlook Tower on Castlehill in Edinburgh. We are holding the lens that was used in the 19th century.

I actually turned down a chance to go on a last minute cruise this week with Mom and sister Betsy (they were my cabinmates last November)! I can't believe I did because I HATE February in Minnesota but I still haven't shed the beaucoups pounds I picked up - a November cruise, Thanksgiving, Christmas ... deadly combination for me.

It's so good to finally "meet" you all.

Come on the rest of you ...

OK this is too cool to pass up. I love seeing pictures of people I have “known”, almost vicariously, for seven or eight years. So even though I am a casual visitor, I shall try to jump in here.

This is me and my lovely wife Glenda on Mt Katahdin, Maine in 1991 after 2,200 mile through hike of the Appalachia Trail. Hence the throughhiker name on Ebay and here.

Yes, your wife is lovely, and yes, a 2,200 mile hike qualifies you to use throughhiker as your ID. DANG!

Hey Tom,
Thanks for posting my picture. I thought I had it right. I left a space between the URL and the brackets could that be my problem?

I think we took the Abol spring trail as well. 1968, Glenda and I were engaged in 1968 :=), high school sweethearts.

Peace,
Don

Sorry,wrong picture.
This picture is old and I am the only one in the family who has it.
Introducing Grandma, back then in the summer, grandma will stay cool by staying in her room, removed her blouse , threw her breasts over her shoulder and turned on the fan!
I am the first one to her right.
