zilvy Ginger beer is non alcohol ( lol it better be since I dont drink). The best I have had is made by souix city. They also make a darn good Birch beer. The Ginger beer BURNS going down lol.

Lots of room in the new place, cool. I couldn't even read the last few days, my computer and browser refused to bring up the pages, something about going on strike, it was too much work, whatever it was mumbling, I need my new computer ASAP. I would scroll over, and scroll over some more, and then a little bit more and then try to bring up a page and wait...wait...wait. So thanks for the new thread, and it's a brand new party.

another local treat I opted not to include in her care package, canned boiled green peanuts in the shell! or as they're called around here, imagine the Southern drawl, "biiiled goobers". What a treat heated up to eat as a snack with a cold frosty drink (usually beer) but I dont' drink beer. Man they are an acquired taste.
BTW, Rocker, how do I get a copy of your tape? and has anybody put an MP3 copy of your songs on Napster for download? maybe I could download them.

hiya Mousie! did you get anything special or unusual yet to put in?
I got loads of chocolate stuff and cookies, but now I want to start scouting around for some more unusual stuff, something like Key Lime jelly or .... still thinking. Our chocolate just doesn't compare to Cadbury chocolate BTW. Yumm!
I think I'll send a small package of books separately, they can go much cheaper if I dont' send them airmail, it'll take longer but I can send more.

That was a pretty slick move, Rocker - getting them to lock up the old party place so we didn't have to clean it up! I wonder what they're going to do with all the old Tim-Tam wrappers and empty milk bottles?
And this place is pretty nice, too! Did you have to pay extra for the built-in loo? I notice that the loo's already starting to look like it could use a good cleaning. How many beers did you give xardon anyway?

Cool nettak, they're quite good and I got a assorted box of their cookies so you'll get to sample a few different kinds.
I hate to admit how much i've eaten already of what you sent, but it was so good! I'm splitting the rest of my stash of Tim-tams with a friend. They're absolutely lovely.

I told them what scrapple was made of a while back, enchanted. I didn't hear a lot of clamoring for a taste. In fact, there were more than a few scatological references, if I recall correctly.
I do believe the lurkers have the toilet detail. I'm not going in there. The river is good enough for me.
It looks as though we won't be seeing the old thread dip below the horizon until sometime tomorrow. It's hard to predict these things.

Well, I just spent the last couple of hours packing up Pharlap's box. The stuff is in the third box now because I couldn't get it all to fit in the first two! LOL Just out of curiosity I went to the USPS website to estimate the postage and all I can say is OMG! I may have to split mine up too!
Enchanted, I'm sending her 2 local magazines and some postcards so she can visualize I'm sending her some local mexican cusine and pistachio nuts. I'm thinking some cactus jelly too if I can find some
Zilvy, not yet, but I will go shortly! I miss being able to post mine Pogo is such a little sweetie, I was gone all afternoon and she pestered the heck out of me for attention when I got home. The baby isn't spoiled

Hi I am back from the shops and ready to party, and what do I find. The place is empty.
Michelle has been in and decorated with such pretty sparkly lights. Now she is looking for a bin because she is sick of having to sweep up the bottles and wrappers. LOL

Well, the deluge has begun here in Arizona. On the 10:00 news they were saying that Yuma, a small town in the western part of our state had over and inch of rain just today. What makes that so amazing is that they normally only get a little over 3 inches a whole year! They have issued flash flood watches for our area until 1:00pm tomorrow.
We're pretty safe in the middle of the city, just soggy. I just hope none of the small towns get flooded again
It just started raining about a half hour ago and it's supposed to be pretty intense. So if I disappear either the computer hates me again, or we got thunderstorms...
