While perusing a thread all about ME [Muriels thread about Robins ] I came to the sudden and sad realization that after the 14th we will no longer be able to post a picture of a robin or ourselves or a simple GIF without paying $200 for the privilege.

You'll still be able to post a picture that you have stored on another server. You just need the url. It doesn't matter if it is hosted here on AW or not.

I agree Rawbunzel.
I've only just recently learned how to post pictures. I even bought a scanner! I could have them hosted elsewhere of course, but it wouldn't be the same.

I know I can import pictures from another site. It does seem strange to HAVE to do it when posting pictures on a picture hosting site. Wouldn't that be like mentioning the competition? Will the pictures get WOMD?

I think that portion of the rules is somewhat ambiguous, krs. AW is an online auction site, if only in an auction related way.
It was an AW moderator who instructed me in how to post pictures here.
