Zilvy, are you comparing us to wild horses??? LOL

Okay the barbie is fired up and the prawns and the XXXX are in the esky. Someone else will have to look after them cause hubby is off to work and it is only 5:50am and I am back to bed. Hahaha

Oh yes the fruit for the blender is on the bench by the door. Everyone party on, there will be much singing, dancing and hilarious fun.

Well, the old party thread has begun its long slow slide into AW obscurity.

I'm just going to sit quietly here on the dock and watch it fade away. They say that at the precise moment it slips below the horizon you will see a green flash.

...anyone care to join me?

...oh, and bring me a beer while you're up, OK?

Hey there Xardon I once said to my
hubby, while you're up, would you move the grand
piano to the west wall? Don't just say beer, say
Four X Maybe, we should have some
Key Lime Pie while we watch for that "Flash"?
I think you really have to spend some time
in Margaritaville in order to see the Green
flash!!

edited cause I don't know how to speeel.

Or some such thing. (From my friend the Witch Doctor.) Actually Rocker

don't you get a job?" He was in a funk & had
been out of work for a couple of months.
Worked like a charm...went to work and we

Xardon - Jeeeez I didn't even get a chance to reply to ya in the old thread and it was locked! LOL! Those mods don't waste any time do they!?!?

Now then...
cave schmave!!
Here is how I see it:
- We hold a record for the longest thread in the shortest time I believe?
- We also made history with 82 pages without one cross word
- I was d@mn sick and tired of scrollin back and forth, weren't you?
- See, if I didn't say "okay lock it", then the mods would've locked it anyway, therefore taking away our choice in the matter. When you say "OKAY" to something that's gonna happen anyway, it gives the ILLUSION you had complete control over the situation.
Or I could put it this way: I have total acceptance and serenity over the locking of the old thread and it is time to move on, move ahead, move forward.

(I will NOT admit I am a little sad watching it sink into the horizon.)
:::Wiping away small tear:::

Okay then....
PARTY ON, WAYNE! PARTY ON, GARTH!!!!

(The Rocker doesn't cave. Ask my EX.) LOL!!!

Allright!

I'll bring some local delicacies.

Line up for cheesesteaks. We got'em wid or widout (fried onions, that is). Hoagies wid sharp provolone. Fish cakes. Soft pretzels hot from the oven. Pepper Pot and Snapper soups.

For dessert we got us some TastyKakes and Peanut Chews and the original Chocolate covered strawberries from the William Penn Shop (big as baseballs). Canolis from South Philly and Water Ice.

...and after a short hop over the bridge to Camden, NJ, we have Godiva Chocolates.

At the bar we have Schmidts, Yuenglings Pale, Dock Street Ale, or Ortliebs. We also got Hank's Black Cherry Wishniak and Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer for the soda (don't call it pop} drinkers.

Can you tell it's dinner time? I'll be fixing some spagetti with meat sauce tonite. I'll have to get my recipe for chicken paprika on here later, it is SOOOooo good.
