Well Pharlap, we are luckier than those poor people down Melbourne way. Because they have an ice storm for breakfast, snow in the afternoon and rain at night, and if they are lucky they get sunshine for brunch. LOL (Sorry Bob) Hahahaha It was the devil, he made me say that. LOL

My devil ran away. He must not like the weather either. LOL

{{{{{HUGS}}}}} to you Mouse! I'll ask again, cause I don't know if you saw it the first time - have you heard of this new stuff called MSM? I've been taking it for about a week now, and it seems to be helping me with my neck, back and ankle pain. I haven't been hurting NEARLY as much!

Here's an article about it:
MSM: The Natural Solution for Pain with Stanley Jacob, MD
Dr. Jacobs has had extensive experience using MSM for pain in the
musculoskeletal system. Other experience has been with pain in
the tendons and ligaments, with burns and with fibromyalgia.

And a buncha' {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to you Nettak - I'm sure you've been needing them lately too!

Ack! Just after my last post I got another illegal error! I sure hope that check gets here soon!!!

Good grief Tigerlady I'm so sorry I forgot to answer that question in our last room! Yes I have heard of MSM and have thought about trying it. My mom got some and I was waiting on her to tell me if she had any relief. We have a lot of the same problems, I'm just no where near as bad as she is! Like mother, like daughter eh? As soon as I get a few extra bucks I will go get some. From what I recall it's not cheap! Nighters Tigerlady!

Thanks so much Netta! Cyber hugs aren't as good as real ones, but close!! This little group we got going here has really helped me this past month. I was sinking so fast into depression from not having a clear diagnosis for so long and all of the money/disability problems, not to mention I can't do what I used to be able to, dammit!

Pharlap I just want to tell you again how much your package meant to me. Here I am pretty much a total stranger and you ship me a rather heavy box full of great stuff (which must have cost a small fortune!) I think about you and your kindness everyday when I see one of the items. I'm almost afraid to use it all so I have nothing left to remember!

Mouse, be brave go on try it. LOL haha

I know what you mean about our little group of friends here. It means a lot to be able to share your troubles sometimes, and then to find that everone cares so much. It just touches my heart in a way I can not describe.

It helps me to be able to come here and talk to you all, kind of take the mind off other things for a short while. Thank you all.

I forgot to say earlier that DH's 'theme song' is: Poor Side of Town by Johnny Rivers

I better be off to bed too. I need my strength to make that call! Nighters gang!

Yeah, he's drooling! (at least I HOPE that's drool!) It's not just your eyes! I had already scrammed by then! *LOL*

Hey Mouse! Don't worry about it! I do it all the time! My memory has really been suffering lately! So if I forget to say "HI" don't take it personally!
I got some of that MSM at drugstore.com on sale for $13 - I got the Twinlab brand 1000mg. It has 120 tablets in it, and you only take 2 a day. It's a lot cheaper than that other Glucosamine stuff - although they've got pretty good prices on that, too.
Here's a link to the product:
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=55930&catid=9210&trx=PLST-0-SRCH&trxp2=55930&trxp3=1&btrx=BUY-PD-PLST-0-SRCH

It's been working pretty well for me so far. I have a lot of problems with my neck from a wreck back in high school (it's bent OUT instead of IN), and my lower back's been giving me a lot of problems lately. (can't stand up for more than a few minutes without it BURNING - it actually feels like my back is on FIRE) Then I broke my ankle almost a year ago. Long story, but it still bothers me. I can't even go walk out on the grass because it hurts to walk on any uneven surface. ANYWHO - everything's been better lately. I even helped a friend unload a uhaul the other day. I didn't think I would be able to walk on that ramp, but I could. My ankle's a LITTLE sore now, but that's just because I haven't been ABLE to do that in a long time!

Hello, Mouse Yes, I did see your post
to the cat lover's thread. Thank you for your
comments. I got really excited and thought
you meant you had posted pictures (like your
computer healed itself) or you used someone
elses. Anyway, I went back in a did a better
job on Tigger's eyes. I had never used the
enhance feature for pictures on ebay but
it works great on Pussy cats.

I'll drop in later to see if anyone is
around.

Rocker, of course you're mushy! That's why we love ya so much silly!! So, your theme song reflects your interests, doesn't that fit?!? LOL

Thanks for the link Tigerlady, I will check back when that big fat refund check gets here!

I'm chomping at the bit for it to come too The bills are starting to roll back in *sigh* I had no fun with my phone call today either, I got bad news and no news. I swear I'm about to go postal on all of them!!! I'm going to look into something tomorrow that I've been questioning. If my hunch is right, it might help straighten it out. That is if they can figure out how to fix it! They're pretty mindless down there...

Zilvy, sorry to disappoint you dear. I wish I'd been able to post new pics! You'll be the first to know when I do

were signing off as The hippy chick, I kept
thinking of George Carlin's, "Hippy Dippy

rare occasions) be the Hippy Dippy Chick!
Oh those wild and crazy times!
Sorry I missed you guys last night, I tried
to get to sleep, finally gave in at 4AM...
AW was down for maintenance...so I visited
some other boards, nowhere near the fun we
have here! Hope to see you later. TGIF &

Thanks mouse, I needed that! *drool mode off*

Boy, methinks I might have gotten myself in over my head. At least I wasn't taken, but sheesh! OK - to explain:

I sent off for some info about assembling bracelets for a company. They pay you $30 for every unit of 12 bracelets. (they don't tell you it's 12 at first, they just say $30 a unit. I figured it was going to be 10 or 12) I figured "How hard could it be? They're asking people who've never done this before to do it, right? I've made jewelry, I oughta' be able to do this. Well, this isn't anything I've done before, and actually it's something I've been a BIT intimidated by. (I HAVE wanted to learn how to do it, though)

SO, has anyone out there ever done seed-bead WEAVING? You know with the peyote stitch and all that? They give instructions, but it's kinda' hard to see what they're doing.

HELP!
