Congrats OP. I wanted a purty color too but was not willing to pay an extra $100 for it. I love the blue!

I use a wireless mouse with mine. That little touch pad is just too annoying. I guess if you are accustomed to texting with a cell phone it might be ok but I do not have the patience for texting either.

I got it all set up last night and I love it!
I am now convinced that the colour has a lot to do with it's performance (just kidding gentlemen!)

One of the main reasons I wanted the Acer is because the keyboard is not totally flat. Flat is not a good thing when one has long nails as you keep hitting the keys above.

This one came with Windows XP which is what I have on my BIG machine. The newer model which was just a little more money comes with Windows 7 Starter kit which the young salesman said is missing a lot of things. The newer models have also gone to the flat keyboard to mimic the larger laptops so it was a no brainer for me to make my decision.

Yes, I am going to take along my wireless mouse when I travel beceause I kept clicking on wrong things when trying to use that pesky little cursor chaser!

I am now hinting about this adorable little mouse that was also in Best Buy in lots of colours but I really can't justify it when we have several perfectly good Logitech mice hanging around the house.

I have a LENOVO laptop and it has this one key recovery feature ,14.1 LCD,it is 2 years old.
I just bought a Next G express 7 modem(USB 2.0) and I can go to One2free site and pay either by 30 minutes,by the hour,by day or 7 day pass.
