I reckon that if somebody had started screaming in pain as Laura Bush drove past the stop sign, she would have applied the brakes and stopped.
The boy didn't stop when the little girl began to cry in pain. He beat her again and again, and then some more.
Your argument might fly, reamond, had Laura Bush hit someone, checked her rear view, then shoved it into reverse to back over them again. That would certainly be an indicator of intent. However, there's nothing like that in the case. The death she caused was the result of negligence.
Negligence might apply to the boy if he had dropped her once and caused an injury, or even a fluke accidental death. But by all accounts, his actions went far beyond that. He hurt her once, and went back for more. That's an indicator of intent.
To even insinuate that anyone here is a lurking member of the "clan" is insulting and a violation of the Community Guidelines. Please keep the principles of basic etiquette in mind as you post.
