Oh, I never get carried away...I can't keep up with that many! My friend can, she's a bingo-holic. I swear she goes about everyday. We used to go once a week, girls night out type thing. But when I got poor, I had to stop going. That was like 2 years ago *sigh* I go once in a blue moon. She sometimes lends me the money. Last time was my 'Christmas present', but I paid her back anyway since I won
It's funny though, everytime I go with the attitude that I need to win to pay bills, I don't win (with the exception of last time). The one time I went with the attitude that is was for my vacation, I won over $300! I guess that means it's supposed to be play money?
Zilvy, are ya still here???

By the way, in case you haven't got the timing down yet, this thing conks out about every 2-3 hours. Since I last rebooted it a little over 2 1/2 hours ago it's about due. Plus it's starting to get very sluggish. So if I disappear for a bit, you know why!
Netta, did you read what's happened to me today on the last page or so??
*Forgot a few letters, duh!

back the page. It seems to be
running away.
Hi Mouse, I think Mama Michelle
is having a rest away from the funny farm,
and she probably deserves a break from us.

Hello to everyone who's still around!!!
I'm on my faster computer tonight so there will be no internet rage tonight from this wee lassie
Must say I'm very surprised at the reaction to Zilvy's Irish thread... some people are offended by anything
Hey Nettak - If we Aussies got upset at every joke that implied that we like our drinkie poos we would be a very unhappy race don't you think???
Cap - before going to bed do you think you could do a quick edit

Didn't I tell you the other week, that
you should look out for a cloud hovering
with a silver lining. LOL
This could have been yours today, what
good luck with your shopping.
I am sorry about your payments not being
prompt, I would be screaming by now.
I do understand how you must feel, we
have our own business and we have had
some tough times when we have been trying
to get payments and we have ended up having
to wait for months.
Luckily for us we only have to scratch
for a few months of each year, and we
try to put money aside for those time.

Hi Pharlap, now if anyone starts
on us good old Aussies, we may just have
to lock them in the dunny until they can
not breath. LOL haha
I do not drink a lot myself, but I have
some really good friends who drink more
than the fish in the river and I think
that Australian men drink more beer than
just about any other country. They do not
care what sort of beer it is so long as it
is cold.

Capriole,
I deleted your post because it was causing major side scrolling and the party animals were getting ornery!
If you are around I will bring your post back so you can put a space or two between those smilies

Nettak - just a social drinker myself now. I'm one of the few people I know that doesn't actually like getting drunk (can count on one hand the number of times I have been). I don't like that feeling of not being in contol and having to carefully watch what you might say etc. (especially at work functions )

I got a little tipsy at my daughters 16th a couple of years ago, and my sister got it all on the video. I edited most of it out.
Anyway I had a great time, I sang at the top of my lungs, even had a go at blowing the condom up, (the girls had a comp. to see who could blow it up the biggest). My sister made a pin the penis on the man game and I even had a go at that. You know you can have a great time when you are just a bit tipsy. LOL At least I did.

Netta, I hope that's not the only silver lining! I'm really hoping this complaint letter will shake things up and force them to realize what they are letting be done to their employees by this other company that's supposed to be there for us!
Pharlap, I forgot to tell you I sent this first one airmail (cough, choke, gasp! ), so let me know how fast it arrives! I figure what the heck, it's coming out of my tax refund, so it's on the government The lady at the post office thought that it's more for you guys to send to here too. If that's the case, OMG! But maybe she's not taking currency exchange into account...Oh, and she said it was a nice thing we're doing

Mouse - Cool! I can't wait - I'll let you know as soon as it arrives
Speaking of the exchange rate - I made quite a nice profit cashing in all of my US dollars I got from Ebaying at the end of last year. I didn't think the AUD could possibly get any lower. Then I heard on the news today that it is UNDER 50c US!!!!! Should have waited that little bit longer....

Mouse I think our postal fees used to be a fair bit higher than yours but then you got the price hike and that made us much of a muchness.
If you keep on looking you will probably find another cloud on the horizon with a silver lining. Good luck is always just around the corner and one day it will turn and run straight at you with open arms. I am a big believer in fate and you can make your own fate if you believe in your self enough.
Why don't you borrow Joice's little friend and give him a pat on the head to bring you luck.

Hey, anyway we Americans can help you out
OMG, I am in shoe heaven! Remember a few days ago when I said I ordered 6 pairs? Well, I have big and sensitive feet. I thought I was doomed to wear sneakers forever! So far I've tried on 4 out of 6 and they're woooooonderful! One pair is too wide (I have long skinny feet ) and my foot won't stay in them. Too bad too, they were black flats, which I desperately need a pair of! Bummer, off to look some more

Pharlap, I was going to take my US $$ down to change over tomorrow morning, but I heard that it is going to go as low as .48 in the $$ so I might wait until Monday or even if I only change half of it now and wait and see on the rest of the cash.
I like a good profit. LOL

Nettak - lucky you!!!! I have none left whatsoever - I cashed them in before Christmas to buy presents etc... (I also haven't Ebayed since then either)
I suppose I should feel guilty for being happy that the Oz $ is so low? The only bad thing is that I haven't been able to buy any books (Amazon.com) for a while as it's no longer a saving
I'll have to keep buying second hand until things improve... (In case you haven't realised I buy a LOT of books!)

Zilvy. Ignore the wowsers. Just clobber a few with your sheleleigh. If that don't work we'll help out with a nulla-nulla or three!
