Mouse a Nulla Nulla is a weapon that the
Aboriginals used to hunt with. It is a long stick about a metre long sometimes they have a bulgy look to the end of them. I sure wouldn't want to be hit on the head with one of them.

nettak, I don't mind a Guinness now and then, it's a good drop if the publican keeps it right.
When we were young and hard up we used to drink a brew called Black Velvet. It was half Guiness and half Cider. It sort of crept up on you after a while!

Ok, so I didn't yell at Cap, those lasses on your side of the world did. I was just trying to figure out what Cap's post meant?? Then the computer went hinky. Came back and the post was gone
Pharlap, I was just going to inquire if we'd lost you off surfing or something. That's my job to get sidetracked (and I seem to do it too well lately! ) I left the doctor's office today without my papers and my meds he was kind enough to give me samples of until my med. ins. goes back into effect!
You guys know I've been having troubles with the medical review company my employer uses for disability, right? Well, now it seems the problem is they think my doctor released me to go back to work, with restrictions. But he hasn't, he doesn't know where they got that idea, and he's as frustrated as I am! I had to get those papers today to make my stand and do it correctly. I hit the jackpot though...It seems their doctor agreed with my doctor that I should not be released to go back to work.
Now I'm even more frustrated with the whole thing, not to mention confused as heck! My employer won't let me come back, especially after 6 months, without a written release from my doctor. So none of this makes sense. That company has such poor communication, I wonder if it will ever get straightened out 
Anyway, sorry for going on about it again. It's just killing me that this happens to anyone, much less one that is ill!!
Netta! I just realized I did have another silver lining today...the shoes! I found a good brand for my feet back in my teens and haven't been able to find more. Not to mention my foot has changed a bit since then. Now I think I have another favourite (did I spell it right? ) shoe company! Have any of you ever hear of CloudWalkers? If not, you should take a gander, they're on the web (add .com).

Mouse - you mentioned before that you had large feet. What size are they (I have a friend with size 10 feet which are huge!!!)

Pharlap how tall is your friend??? I'll bet she is tall, I wear a size 9 - 10 shoe depending on the make. Most tall women have large feet. It makes it hard to get nice shoes sometimes.
So when I find some that I like, I often buy 2 or 3 pairs and when one is on the way out I get another pair out of the cupboard to replace them.
