Well I had heard a little bit of gossip, you know the sort of thing. Little whispers like ' you know that Pharlap, she talks to herself ' ect., but I told them to bite there tongues. LOL 
We are all a bit mad around here, I think it is part of the deal when you sign up, you have to be a touch phyco or they don't let you post. Hahaha

Sorry girls, I was doing what Zilvy calls the "Dora Domestic" routine: laundry. I'm not just washing the regular stuff, I'm also washing eBay stuff in preparation of getting my computer fixed!  So I've had to take stuff out to the garage (my eBay area). But I'm here now until the dryer beeps again!

I'm sorry, I should have said something! I'd say the hinky part will come withing the hour though...he average seems to be about 2 hours and I'm going on an hour and a half now.

If I were her, I'd run screaming from the building and start again under a fresh ID
I had a run of moronic buyers from hell myself not too long ago. It did not matter what I did they seemed to be there. It almost got to the point where I did not want to list, because of these losers.
At least none of them negged me, which is a biggy.

All I've sold is clothes and yes, I've seen EG's posts. I don't know where she finds them! I've had a couple get a little odd, but managed to sooth them over in one email. Both that I can think of were a simple case of not reading and that was the end of it. I dunno, maybe it's my charming personality I was getting a little burnt out in Jan. and was planning to take a break. As my last auctions were ending, that's when my computer died. Shortly after that is when I started physical therapy. So it was good timing.
I was running out of items too, and with my money situation I couldn't get any new stock. But because I've gained the weight from sitting on my arse , I have a bunch of my stuff to sell. Plus the major find I had the other day. So I'll be busy for a few months!
As a matter of fact, 2 of my customers I still get emails from. We've become friends I dunno, maybe it's the area of clothing I'm in? I deal pretty much in plus sizes, maybe us big girls are more easy going? LOL I've tried to sell some of hubby's stuff, but some of it I couldn't give away! Guys clothes are very difficult to sell for some reason.
Netta, You have to quit scaring the new people away like that! You have to let them like the place in the reception area before you show them the rubber room and straight jackets!

I only had the one who was an absolute PITA. Not so much wacko but pedantic and e-mail happy... I remember bursting into tears one day after getting yet another of her e-mails and I hadn't even opened it yet!

Mouse - it's funny that you mentioned that you still keep in contact with some of your buyers. I have one who actually ended up being my penpal! (the old fashioned snail mail type) which has been great (which reminds me - I owe her a letter)
See - they're not all bad I suppose

You know Pharlap, I used to write tons of letters! Most were to my grandmothers, but they're gone now. And I lost touch with a good friend in Texas. I haven't written a thing in years. I need to take it back up! I used to have pretty penmanship and it was pleasureable to write. Maybe if I go get myself some nice stationery it will inspire me By the way, what is pedantic??

Okay I'm back, got lost there for a short while.
I also have some buyers who have turned out to be very nice and some of them keep in touch. I think it is lovely. It is a bit like we are in this thread. We are able to give each other cultural information about our countries to each other, and it is a real learning experience.

Well I don't know what the problem is for me tonight, but I can't seem to get into anything without having to wait and wait, and then refresh the page over and over.
Then the phone interupts me constantly. Oh well maybe this time I can post without being held up for long periods at a time.
