Some powerful posting above by Mivona and Gentletides.
With ddcliffe having made an entry (since deleted) to this thread in his usual vein and with the stated intention of drawing some interesting responses in the furtherance of discussion of this issue, I for one am waiting to hear his response to the realities as presented by Mivona and to the biblical premise of Gentletides.
So how about it, ddcliffe? Can you say to those posters that they are wrong? Can you support your positions in the face of the pragmatic circumstance described? Can you respond to the descriptive analysis which paints you and those with views such as yours to be both idolators and blasphemers in the eyes of the Lord?
The Holy Bible can be prooftexted to support whatever side of any given issue/topic.
Generally speaking it doesn't accomplish anything to use the Bible to debate any hot issue. The Bible was used by both sides on the slavery issue (during the 1800s) and still is for the discrimination of African-Americans!
So it really isn't recommended to debate the Bible on the abortion issue. Advisors actually suggest to avoid the Bible references.
I do want to thank ddcliffe giving me the heads-up on the opposition's strategy on debating the abortion issue in letters to the editor and other forums such as this.
That is like when the Gore campaign received Bush's debate materials.

The request was not made to you, bobbysoxer.
ddcliffe has repeatedly made use of biblical references in support of his positions so you might say that he broke the balloon containing any such advice as you present.
Perhaps you were not able to glean that fact from what he's said over time. I would not be surprised were that to be the case, as you have repeatedly and forcefully demonstrated the full scope of your limitations to all and sundry several times.
Furthermore, you cannot make any point with me, for it is not me who has brought the delicacies of which I inquire to the fore. I have not noticed any posted objection by you to the biblical treatise offered by Gentletides yet now you take it upon yourself to lecture to me? Well, save it. You may notice that I do not give posted attention to anything you say. You may assume that I have my own reasons for that.
I have asked a question, addressed to a poster and concerning impressive points brought by two other posters.

Gentletides post struck me as something quoted from a previously published work. I'd like to ask if that is the case, and if so, can Gentletides please credit the source?

I'm pretty sure of that, as I think that I had found the same site. I posted part of it previously somewhere-possibly in the first Mzalez thread a few days ago.
I don't think I linked to it, but it may have been in the link to a prochoice site provided by someone else.

In the begining, God created the heavens and the earth.
No, I've been mispelling your ID for so long that I've become accustomed to it. My mistake, or something. Perhaps the same thing that has effected MichelleG.
Tell you what....I'll try to remember it if you correct your sigline.
