I have two different forms of the virus, one is called Ross River Fever and the other is called Bramah Forest Virus. They are both the same sort of thing really and for some reason it has hit me harder and for longer than most people get it. Lucky aren't I? Actually I didn't even really have any bad thing from the virus until the last few years and then I think it is making up for lost time. The worst thing for me is that it makes my feet feel like they are broken, especially first thing in the morning, but I have found if I can soak them in cold water for about 5 minutes I can walk properly after that.
We do clean ups for repossesed houses and some of them are in really bad condition. You do not want to know how bad this one was.
I do not have to go on all the jobs but sometimes when we can not get the girls in (if they are too busy or have other work on), I have to help. Yuk. Oh well it pays the bills. Our other side of the business is totally different, we have a winter home heating business and as our winter is not too far away, I will be run off my feet in the next few weeks. Well at least I hope I will be very busy anyway. I like being able to afford to pay my bills, so I need for us to be busy. LOL

That was it, Ross River Fever. I too feel very stiff and creaky first thing when I get up. Drives me crazy! I wonder how bad I'll be when I'm 60
I remember one of the first jobs I had when I was 11 was cleaning empty apartments. (The manager liked me ) I thought it was so cool to make triple what I did babysitting, of course it was only minimum wage LOL. I only ended up doing one, it was a mess! I couldn't tell you how many bags of trash I hauled out of there. And there was a lot of work needed that was way beyond me at that age. No wonder he asked me to do it!

This place had about 4 truck loads of stuff taken out of the house and from around the yard. I didn't help with that part, that was done on the weekend and when I went in today it was only to clean up inside. YUK. , and the men had to slash and clean up the yard and trim back the trees ect.
I bet you were glad not to go back to cleaning the apartments. LOL I could not imagine an 11 year old trying to do any of these jobs, they are just disgusting, I have trouble believing that people actually live like this. I guess sometimes you have to feel sorry for them because they must have a reason for living in such a mess.

The first apartment DH and I lived in had a roach problem something fierce. The exterminator kept coming, but it didn't help. He even said we weren't doing anything that would attract them so they were coming from somewhere else. Turns out one of our neighbors, who had 2 very small children, were living in a pigsty. They were evicted and when the manager went in, she said there were so many roaches that the floor moved. Gross! She also said the stove was black on top (it was supposed to be white) and that the refigerator was so disgusting that she couldn't imagine eating anything that came out of it, much less feed it to a baby. Needless to say when I found out what day they were going to bug bomb that one, I had them spray our very well so they wouldn't move in with us!
That solved most of the problem, but we still had a few. Then a neighbor behind us were found to be another roach haven. They came into ours after that and drilled holes in the wall and put bait in. No more roaches after that! If that hadn't gotten rid of them when they did, I was going to move out. I've never had roaches and it was so gross to open a drawer and have them scatter!

Well get this (I'm really steamed!!!!! )
I was downloading a song and was about 1/2 way through. Then the person hosting the song decides he/she wants to chat with me. I didn't really want to (I wanted to come over here ) but thought I should make some small talk seeing as I am downloading their file.
The download is nearly finished (and you know how long these things can take) and they messaged HAHAHAHAHA and then I got a transfer error. I am so PO'd right now!!!!!!
To top it off they are the only person sharing this song What a b@stard/bi$ch!
(can you tell I just learnt to use bold and italics )

In the winter it's jeans and sweatshirts, in the summer shorts and t-shirts. It's way too hot here for jeans, I'd roast!

Hi all! Just popping in for a moment - not feeling too good tonite. It seems every time I try to take something to get rid of this D@MNED sinus infection it just gets WORSE. Oh well - I'll get rid of it one of these YEARS. (literally years, I've had it about 5 now) UGH! OK - now to the point. I've got a joke for our Aussie friends out there!
A Texan farmer goes to Australia on vacation. There he meets an Aussie farmer and gets to talking. The Aussie shows off his big wheat field and the Texan says, "Oh! We have wheat fields that are at least twice that size!"
They walk around the ranch a little, and the Aussie shows off his herd of cattle. The Texan immediately replies, "We have longhorns that are at least twice as large as your cows."
The conversation has died down when the Texan sees a herd of kangaroos hopping through the field. He asks the Aussie, "What are those?"
The Aussie replies with an incredulous look, "Don't you have any grasshoppers in Texas?"
Oh, and Pharlap - just try napster again at different times - there's bound to be someone else out there that has that song! They just might not have been logged on at the time! (We're on there to - username "tigerbuddha"
I miss you guys, but I really feel like CRAP so I'll be going for now. I might stop by later this evening if I can.
I just REALLY cnat psell tonite!
