CharlieOne-

No, your post doesn't include the actual word "expert". You said:

Because of people like you, who intend tt use the NW for other than what it was intended. I know the TOS better than you know your own address.

Based on your premise that you know Yahoo's TOS even better than I know my own address, and considering the definition of "expert":

expert: a person who is very skilled or highly informed on some special field

One would conclude that, in your quote above, you were attempting to pass yourself off as an expert, as it relates to Yahoo's TOS. If you are not, in fact, an expert in this area, I would offer you my apologies, and suggest that in order to avoid further misunderstandings, you attempt to refrain from claims that seem to imply something that is not true.

Yes, either them, or a prankster. Like Yisgood had.

Like I've mentioned before, I've had auctions NWed. Ones with bids on them. I know who my retaliator was. The auctions closed just fine. Didn't affect the sales at all. That's why I don't understand this obsession people have about this "power" thing. It make no sense whatsoever.

Geez, you know, you may be right about that. Knowing your own address, may require you to be an expert on the subject. That means I'm not an expert, I may be a genius! )

gawooley-

But mrpotatoheadd does make a valid point when he more or less asks what you and "posse" members have to fear by revealing your true identity.

That is part of what I was asking- the whole question was: If you fear revealing your identity, why would you make a post saying if you are doing nothing wrong, there is nothing to be concerned about?

I don't have a problem with a person's wish to remain anonymous, but it is hypocritical to do so while making the statement "if you are doing nothing wrong, there is nothing to be concerned about" to another.

Thank you so much for reading and understanding my post- not everybody has.

That comment was made about NW submissions, not anyones identity. Man, are you a 'spindoctor' as they say. You take a quote about the NW, and apply it to a persons identity? Talk about reaching out for help.

I'm tired of this, please get Mrs. mrpotatoheadd over to the computer.

That comment was made about NW submissions...

NW submissions- okay... You say to sellers worried about having people report their auctions:

If you are doing nothing wrong, there is nothing to be concerned about.

Fine. Now, how about if those sellers respond by asking you to disclose your id, and say to you:

If you are doing nothing wrong, there is nothing to be concerned about.

How do you answer them? Wait... don't answer- it's a trick question. Regarding making your id known, you have already said:

I'm sure if you found my auctions, what the end result would have been.

Now, you didn't actually say what you thought I'd do to your auctions, but from the way your response was written, I'm pretty sure you didn't think I would be bidding on them. Not that I'd actually do anything to another person's auctions anyway- it appears there are enough people already on that case.

I'm tired of this...

Well, nobody's holding a gun to your head. There's probably some auctions on Yahoo that need to be looked into right now.

This is what I said. Now you are down to taking four words of mine, and leaving out the rest of the sentence? Next you'll get down to one word. Then you can really have a field day, using one word. Is your opinion that weak? That you have to stoop to taking bits and pieces now, and make them in to what you want them to be?
