Here it doesn't matter how cold or warm it is, for me (when I'm in bed alone) it's usually a one dog and at least 3-4 cat night/day!

LOL Pharlap, I just caught your edit earlier. I knew what ya meant Awww, you have a black kitty! I haven't had an all black kitty for a long time. How old is he?

That reminds me of something horrible that happened tonight. We were on the freeway on the way to dinner and I saw something rolling in the road. I couldn't figure out what it was until I got really close, it was a kitty that had just been hit. Oh I hate seeing that It just tears me up!! And it makes me glad that all my babies are home and safe inside the house! I had a bad dream about 2 of our kitties and the dog the other day. We went somewhere and for some reason had them with us. Tehy all ended up getting loose and it was a busy intersection. I was frantic! That's when I woke up, crying. I hate those too! I think I have them because I worry about them like a mom. I hate to see what I'm like with human children! LOL

Pharlap, you know that you were saying about doing 130 on the motorway. Is that legal. I thought the legal speed limit was 110. LOL

Bob - LOL at the comments that you thought even if you couldn't say them here! Did you once write for 'Are You Being Served' by any chance

Mouse - 'He' is a 'she'! Her name is Miffy and she's 15 years young. Had her since she was a baby (and I suppose I was one too) and we love each other to bits!!!

Bob - Can't say I've ever seen the show myself. I have a good idea about it though from the pisstakes on that old comedy show 'Fast Forward'

'Lead Foot' was the name my driving instructor gave me many years ago - no joke!

Nice driving school instructor you had Pharlap. That would have put me right off, and I never would have passed my test.

Nettak - The man that actually took me for my test was known at that dept of MR as 'Hitler' due to how hard he marked people down and how few he actually passed. Luckily I didn't know this or I would have been petrified!!!

When my driving instructor and I arrived and were waiting in the carpark there was this girl bawling her eyes out because she hadn't passed. My instructor told me afterwards that she had just failed her test with 'Hitler'. He must have been in a good mood after making her cry because he passed me no probs

One funny thing I remember from my driving test - I was driving down Scarborough St in Southport (peak hour) and there was this Victorian driver (sorry Bob!) in front who kept stopping and starting in the middle of traffic and asking passers by for directions!!! I swear I wanted to scream out my window at him that I was in the middle of my test and would he just move his ar$e already!!!

Bob you sure do know how to travel light. LOL

Pharlap, when I went for my test (the first time) I was 6 months pregnant with my youngest. Anyway I got this little twerp that was called Hilter, and he took one look at my stomach and we knew that he was going to fail me. I thought my husband was going to deck him, but he restrained himself.

I did not end up going for my test again until after I had the baby. This guy was a nasty piece of work.
