God I don't understand men.
I went and asked my husband if we should call the auto electrician to have a look at our daughters car, as the low beam only work when it feels like it, and I do not want just anyone playing with the thing. So what does he do............. he is out in the garage playing Mr. Auto Electrician. I just hope he knows what he is doing, cause if he makes it worse he can pay to have it fixed. LOL
Why is it that men always think that they know how to fix things on cars ect. Okay I will admit that he knows a lot more about these things than I do, but really, it will probably only cost a small amount to call the Auto Elec. guy out to the house to have a look and fix the damn thing properly.

Hi everyone!!! My plans for tonight fell through so I can come out to play
Sorry that other job didn't happen Mouse Chin up though - whenever these things happen my mother always had the perfect expression: "God never closes a door without opening a window". A bit of a cliche I know but I have always found it to be true....
Good news though! Your package arrived today Mouse!!! Thanks so much for all the great stuff in there - especially the Mexican food!!! Mexican and Italian foods are my favourites! I will be making the refried beens tomorrow night for dinner. YUMMY!
I have also tried a bit of the Cadbury chocolate. You're right - it isn't as sweet at the Australian one but I think I like it better the way you guys make it. Kind of bittersweet which I like. I also have tried those cinnamon mint things which are great! I will be trying that special coffee with my breakfast tomorrow - I'll probably be bouncing off the walls LOL!!!
Also, I think I know the reason that it took a little longer to get here. This sticker was attached to the box: "Opened and resealed by Australia Post Brisbane for examination by quarantine"! They must have thought you were sending me foot and mouth disease or something!!!
Thanks again though for everything I'll be having a Mexican fest over the next couple of weeks!!!

Oh goody, I'm glad it finally came! You know, that's why I put 'non-perishable' on it darn it! Did you find the keychain of Arizona? I'm hoping to get your other box packed up and sent tomorrow or Friday. I have to tell you, I am out of Fruity Bix Bars and I'm so sad LOL! Still haven't gotten my nerve up to try the Vegemite yet, but I will!
Did you get my email Netta?

This time it was my computers turn to go 'hinky' - completely froze up on me...
Yep - got the keyring. Very cool! I wish I could have found something like that for Queensland...
I think I'll have to send you another little package. There are too many things that I forgot to send the first time!!! Plus you will need some Golden Syrup if you're going to make those ANZAC biscuits! (BTW ANZAC Day is coming up very shortly - 25th April)
I'll send you some more fruity bix bars if you like. Did you like the Apricot ones? They also have Wildberry, Tropical (my favourite) and Fruit & Nut.

oops sorry I was gone for so long.
Things to do and people to talk to on the phone. LOL
I haven't got you email yet Mouse. I think that it is out there in Cyber Space somewhere. The other day I sent my sister an email and she got it straight away, but she sent me on and it took about an hour to get to me. Very strange, especially considering that we only live a short distance away from each other.

I know what you mean about the email Netta. Sometimes I send one to my husband, on the same isp, and it takes a couple of hours!
Pharlap, the apricot ones were great! Wildberry sounds interesting. What's in the tropical ones? I gotta tell you, they're much better than our cereal bars! There was one I used to like and I've been looking for them to send to you, but I haven't found them. I fear they no longer make them
Mine went hinky right as you arrived Pharlap. So while it was rebooting I went and played Frisbee with Gunther I don't care if it is 2am! LOL I have lights so bright out back, it's like daylight when they're all on. The previous owner liked lots of lighting, LOL

(waving) Hi Nettak!!!
Mouse - the tropical ones have pineapple and something else in it (can't remember). I of course like anything with pineapple in it. Tonight I had a bath with pina colada bubble bath, pina colada soap while drinking this pina colada flavoured cordial I found at the shops yesterday. Delish!!!

Hi All, Just quickly logging in to catch up on todays gossip.
I've only just got back and there's a little bit of work to do tonight so I may not be around too long.
mouse, Sorry to hear of possible closures at your plant, but like nettak said, one door closes and another one opens. Keep your chin up and stay positive. Things will be ok.

Hi nettak, Played well for most of the day until the seventeenth when I made bogey.
Finished second but was playing well enough to win. Carded a 68. Winner scored 67.

Arrrg! I hate this computer and I think the feeling is mutual!
Thanks for everyone's positive words. I wasn't affected at all during the last lay-offs. And I'm probably not in too much danger this time either. It's just because I've been out on leave is what has me worried. I already knew they had let go a lot of the temp workers and forced production to take a week off (only paid if they used vacation). I've been trying to get out of that plant for 4 years, maybe I finally will. I just hope it doesn't mean no job at all, or worse yet, no medical insurance!
Pharlap, what expression?
Hiya Bob, you sweetie you

Mouse I love the stained glass stuff, I haven't had a proper look at the rest yet. But I really like this stuff, it is beautiful and I do have plenty of space to fill in the yard and garden, and it really isn't too expensive, and I haven't bought anything for myself in such a long while, and gee this stuff is nice. Need I say anymore.
Now what I will have to do is have the stuff sent to my cousin in the US and she can send it on to me. LOL This could cost me a fortune.
Did you all know that "it" is spelt with a "t" not an "f". LOL

LOL Pharlap! Is that something like a swelled head?
Oh bummer, the stained glass lady doesn't ship worldwide Netta? I know I looked at the artist on eBay and he does. I love that stuff too and am a huge butterfly fanatic! I think both of their prices are very reasonable. A lot less than you would pay in a store for such pretties I just wish my garden looked nicer to really show that stuff off. We're working on it though.
Speaking of landscaping, our yard crew came today. Again they didn't lock the back gate properly! DH is fuming over it and is going to fire them. Especially since Mom mentioned it to them as soon as they got here The last time they did it we didn't notice for 2 days. Then I was out in the yard with the dog and saw it open. I about had a heart attack!!! Gunther has been known to get out and take off running and that scares me to death

Hinky or Kinky. LOL
Mouse, my yard is not as nice as it could be, but we never seem to find the time to do it like it should be. It gets mowed on a regular basis, but the garden needs weeding and trimming back. I am the only one that I can trust to do that job. If I ask my sons' or my hubby, I would come back to no garden plants at all.
The last time I asked my husband to trim the shrubs at the front, he used the hedge trimmer, now this this is like a chain saw, in fact it is a chain saw, but it has a different blade on it and it is used for trimming hedging plants. Well my poor shrub was so chopped up, I thought it would never recover. Did I give him hell over that. But I can tell you , it came back even better than before, but I am not telling him that.
