Gosh don't throw the damn thing out the window, they cost too much. LOL
I do know just how you feel, the same thing happened to me a few days ago and it is a real pain in the bum. I think that they are in cohoots with the phone company. Because for me, being a dial up system, everytime it boots me off, I have to dial up again. More money.
I wanted to get cable connection, but because my driveway is 500mtrs long, they said I am too far away from the road, I asked them if they could put a booster box thingy on the pole in my paddock and they said that they are not allowed to do that. Bugpoop. I bet they would do it, if I was someone important.

Bugpoop?!? LOL You're so silly Netta
Arrrggg, I feel for you Pharlap. Drives me batty too!
Well girls, I can't keep my eyes open any longer. It's been a rough couple of days (I didn't even get to bed until 2pm today, was too tired to sleep ) So I'm going to have to say goodnight. See everyone tomorrow for Rockers welcome back party (after Survivor of course )!

Goodnight Mouse, I hope everything looks brighter for you in the morning. We will all be here for you, cause that is what friends are for.
I think we lost Bob along the way somewhere. I think he is out chasing some skirt. LOL hahaha
I am off too bed myself, so I will see you all tomorrow for our good friend Rocker's return.
Okay I think it is time to start the CONGA LINE, just to get us in the mood for tomorrow. See you all then. Goodnight.

Hi Mouse! I won't be here too long, I haven't gone to sleep before 2:00pm in at least the last week or so (the only sleep I've had is a couple of hours each day before the hubby gets home) and I am SO exhausted I can hardly stand it anymore! But I wanted to at least poke my head in and say "HI!" to everyone!
Got some really bad news from my half-sis today. Her hubby went missing, and was found at a highway rest stop today. He passed away tuesday. Don't have any more info yet. Boy what a shock!
Edited 'cause I can't even finish a thought!

Hi Tigerlady! Oh my goodness, what a shock indeed! Why was he at a road stop? Please let us know when they find out what happened. That is too weird I know what you mean about no sleep, I haven't been doing too good on that myself this week. I got up at about 5pm today and am already thinking about going to bed

Hello Tigerlady & Mouse,
Tigerlady, I am so sorry to hear about you Brother in Law. How old was he? Your poor sister, she must be having a tough time dealing with this, I wish her all the best.

Sorry I didn't say goodbye last night. Everytime I connected I would be cut off about a minute later. I was trying to be quick and post a message saying goodnight but no go I worked out later that I got cut off 11 times in a row!!! You're right Netta - Telstra must be laughing at us...
Tiger - I'm so sorry about your sister's husband. That must have come as a complete shock! Please fill us in when you are able to.

Hi Pharlap, sorry for all your troubles last night, I figured that you must have been having problems again.
Now as for Rocker, I hope she gets to come in tonight. Even though she said she would be in, you know that sometimes things happen and the best plans can go astray.
I am waiting to hear those famous words I'M HERE, I'M QUEER, I'M SCREAMIN IN YOUR EAR ROTHLMAO hahahah

Actually Netta I think something is wrong with my ISP - may have to give them a call later... I just got cut off again!!! It doesn't happen on normal phone calls so I don't think there is a problem with the line.

Pharlap that keep happening to me a month or so back, and I rang them up I can not tell you how many time. In the end I just ripped into them and I have not had that sort of problem since. I just reminded them that I am paying for the service, and I expect to get some service at least, not a huge phone bill and nothing to show for it.
I have had a very busy day, washing up, washing clothes, cleaning the kitchen, cooking meals, and answering the phone in between. Just a normal boring day for me.
The worst part of working from home is that I never have a real excuse for not doing my house work. Well not untill we get really busy anyway.

hi nettak, Back on line again. ISP had problems last night.
If you can get it, try cable. I've been on for about a year and had very few problems. Line speed is much quicker and you don't get drop offs or disconnections.
Hi to pharlap and whoever else is here!
Bob, Downunder but never down.

Believe me Pharlap, if our clients think we have done the wrong thing, or if the driver has left his delivery on the left side of the driveway instead of the right (as if we are supposed to know, if the don't tell us), we cope flack from all sides.
But on the up side, we have some wonderful clients, I especially like the elderly. Some of them have no one to talk to and they get lonely, I alway make time to talk to them. We will all be old someday, and I hope I am not as lonely as some of these people.
The funniest thing happened this morning, when I checked my emails, I wandered over to AW to have a look and I thought I must have done something wrong, cause my name was in the tread list. Boy I thought I must have upset someone. LOL I am glad it was friendly. haha
posted on March 30, 2001 01:14:41 AMROFLMAO PIMP!!! I don't think I've ever seen Rocker say that particular phrase, but I can see her doing it! We love ya Rocker, and your real fans miss ya
You know what Pharlap, that's what keeps happening to me, I get cut off a lot. It was doing it on the computer that blew up too, until I updated the modem driver. I tried to update this one, but DH took over and screwed it up for 2 days. So we went back to square one and I don't dare try it again on here. So I'm thinking it's the modem, not the isp in my case. But who knows?

Hello Bob, I wish I could get cable, but they will not let me, because they say that I am too far from the road. I am waiting for Optus to come to our area, (they say it will be about 2 years, maybe less), Telstra (Foxtell) says that they can not put the adapter thing on the pole in our paddock, but I do know for a fact that they can do it if they want too.
I will just have to keep bugging them until I get what I want.

Hello Mouse, that was some of Rocker's first words to me, back in the beginning of our friendship. I have never forgotten it. It always makes me laugh whenever I think about her saying it.
posted on March 30, 2001 01:21:30 AMBob, actually my first thought was that someone might want to stomp me. LOL haha It did give me a start I can tell you.
I was just glad it was friendly and not hostile, or I might have taken off running. LOL

LOL!!! Mouse. Next week is pay week so I will be posting some extras off to you then. Is there anything that you particulary want (apart from fruity bix bars ) or have heard about that you would like to try?
