to timetravelers::: please tell me it ain't so! are they going into partnership with paypal? I now have two accounts with
money i may never see? paypal hasn't sent me an address verifcation. so basically people pay me and i can't get my money out. have you heard of that one? thanks for the heads up!!! carol

It's very interesting that you're having a problem. I've used both and have mastered both with no problems. Contacted customer service and in under 10 minutes had an answer. Paypal solved my problems and now I transfer money bac and forth with ease. I know I'm not the only one who isn't having problems.

hi, still no real email back from PAYPAL(just form letter saying they are 3-5 days behind in emails),since thursday i have been "LOCKED out" of my acct. i have no idea why,have emailed many times,spent 8 hours on phone listening to busy signals & recording..no luck,wonder if this has to do with confusion over PAYPAL & X.COM MERGER? someone asked me about merger see auctionwatch article here or check out home page of Paypal,"merger with x.com" thanx for listening..pam

What I don't uderstand about this whole X.com / Paypal thing is, why some of us are having such severe problems with them and some seem to have no problem at all? Anyone have an answer to that? I know there's no reason for ANYONE to be lying about the problems they're having or not having! I JUST DON'T GET IT!!! It makes me feel like I'm crazy or somethng when my customers have no problem with x.com and I can't even send them the "request payment for and auction" page. It just will not go through! I think that the people who run these sights should take a second to come here and see what people are saying about them....Oh that's right, they're too busy to even answer the phone!

Dear Jack, You must be living right! I have had one successful transaction
with X-com--then the delays began. I have no problem mastering the how to as
it is fairly remedial. It's their delay in sending link to customer. I know
I am entering correctly as the first one went through without a hitch. Now
paypal is a different problem. The do notify and my bidders are able to pay-
at least up to last week;unfortunately they've not sent the snail mail
verifcation so that I may access my money. It simply sits there. (since
reading the message boards, i've decided not to take either as I 've heard
from dozens
of sellers who are now experiencing delays with paypal also, i'm closing out
both if i'm able) I understand how you feel as you've been lucky enough to
have good experiences with them but I'm sure you must have noticed that you
are in the minority from the message boards you read! I do hope your
experience
continues to be pleasant. I would love it if they could get their act
together but the merger of two non-functioning companies doesn't sound great

hi Timetraveler, still no payment nor any responses since the last thanks
for the patience which ran out long ago! The merger of two companies that
can't function seems a little shaky to me! I can't imagine the hurt this
has put to the large sellers. I'm small. It has put a hurt to me--but
nothing like it would to those whose main source of income this is.
I work full time so it's more a small second income. Not that I can afford
it but still I can't help feel for the full timers and retirees who do it
for their living! Thanks for the reply and good luck! I hope it cures!

got through to Paypal by phone today..apparently someone had tried my email & wrong password,(may have even been one of my customers not understanding how it works)
i had a couple that were mixed up,could happen since they use email add for referral credit.anyway did get it straightened out. thanks to everyone for listening, they were nice, but it still was upsetting to wait almost a week with no reply to my emails, thanks,pam
