Nettak - so much for my resolution to live
like a hermit for a while... I agreed today
to go to lunch with a friend tomorrow.
(sigh) - I have no willpower I swear! I guess
I'll just have to start saving on Friday
Even though I have my three days off I am
seriously considering going into work on
Friday and doing some overtime if it's
available. I know that come Friday it will
probably be the last thing I'll want to do!
Good intentions are all well and good when
it's a couple of days away!

Nettak - there's an easy solution to not
being able to stop at one piece... just
buy a Freddo and you'll have no choice!

I couldn't just buy one Freddo I would have
to have the whole packet. LOL
You can still have a bit of fun and freedom
while you are paying off your credit card
and saving your deposit. If you don't let
yourself have a bit of fun, you will end up
hating the idea of getting your own house.
Live your life in the fun lane while you are
young, you have time enough to be a hermit
when you are old and frail. LOL

Oh Pharlap that honey is so good! Your honey
is darker and richer than ours is. I'm having a
hard time picking my favorite It's kinda funny,
I'm not a big macadamia fan, but I think I like that
flavor better!

Mouse is it hinky time again?
Can someone please tell me why I always
type a K instead of a H when I am typing
the word hinky? Do you think that deep down
my deep inner mind is trying to tell me
something about Mouse. hahaha
Sorry Mouse I could not help myself.
Maybe I just need to spend more time in
spelling class.

If you are thinking of the most obvious person as in Smooooooches, then NO it isn't
our good mate Rocker. Mouse has the answer.
You can email me and I will tell you.

Pharlap, I have no idea what our biscuits are to you,
but they're not the same thing! What would you
call a bread thing rolled out somewhat thick, and
cut into round circles, then baked? Here's you can
buy refigerated dough in a can.
Thanks Netta, I was very confused and now I'm not, LOL!

Go on Nettak - bite the bullet!
Mouse - when I was in primary school we went
on a school excursion to the Superbee. They
have this section where you can taste test
all the different flavours of honey. They
must have had about 40 flavours!!! I like
the lighter ones myself like Clover or
Yellowbox. If you like the darker ones you
would probably like Ironbark - very very
rich.

We have scones too, but they're different. Scones are
dense and crumbly (at least here they are), while biscuits
are fluffy and flaky. Ugh, where's Mama Michelle when
we need her!

Nettak - I had damper just a couple of weeks
ago for the first time in ages! It was a
special in this little cafe so I had it for
my lunch with golden syrup. Yummmmmmmm....

Oooooh Damper and golden syrup is soooo yum.
But have you tried it with thick butter and
jam of your choice. I personally like it
with rasberry jam. Yummy.

Hmmm - doesn't sound like damper to me. Damper's hardly "fluffy and flaky" -at least none of the damper I've had anyway
Need to ponder this some more ....
