Hi Mouse Kaffro & Nettak, I'm in but am crashing fast tonight. Has anyone heard from Rocker? I lost her email with my computer crash last week and haven't heard from her in a while. Hope all is well.

Hi guys' it is good to see everyone.

Mybid, my last email from Rocker
was only a couple of days ago and she
is in fine form. LOL Told me she had pigged out on all her cherry ripes and
had started on the biscuits (cookies).
She says that she is just so busy with
the show, but said to tell everyone that she misses us and loves us all. Rocker
also sent big SMOOOOOOOCHES for everyone. Gosh don't her emails give you an energy high.

I just love to hear from her because she kind of kick starts my day for me. LOL
I live a boring life I know.

her show by the way? Did she say?

Why are you jealous Mouse?

Rocker did not say how long the show
goes for, but I guess that we should
all wish for a long and successful show
for our good mate. Think of the lovely
money she can be making, while she is
working and doing what she loves best.

No Mouse, she doesn't write to me everyday,
sometimes we go for a week without contact.

But I do understand that she is really busy
and at present she does not have a lot of
apare time for us little people. LOL

Have you got her email address, she would
love to hear from you. Why don't you mail
her and let her know you miss her.

Rocker, being Rocker would get a huge kick
out of hearing from you. I told you she
misses our party.

I am out of here in about a half hour, I am
going shopping with my daughter and then to one of my sister's houses for a while. So
I guess I will see you either very late or
tomorrow.

Hi Guys! Just popping in for a sec before I head to bed. Got another e-mail from that woman that just now is asking about the bracelet I sent out in February. So, I e-mailed her back saying I'll fill out an inquiry at the post office, and let her know from there. I also asked her why she waited so long to ask about it, since I did mail it off 2 months ago - we'll see what she says about that. Didn't mention anything about a refund as I still think she's yanking my chain.

You know mouse, I never thought about how difficult it is to describe a biscuit! *LOL*

Oh well, I gotta' go lay down before I wake myself up here! Nite!

Hello to all of my good friends!
I had to share this funny item a friend sent me. I thought the one
about the teen-agers would tickle Netta and Bob and the rest is just plain FUNNY!
GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE THAT ADULTS HAVE LEARNED:

Families are like fudge...mostly sweet, with a few nuts.

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.

Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.

If you can remain calm, you don't have all the facts.

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's acorn that held its ground.

My mind not only wanders; sometimes it leaves completely.

One reason to smile is that every seven minutes of every day, someone in an
aerobics class pulls a hamstring.

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now,
I am so far behind I will live forever.

I hope this brings a smile or two!!

Hi Tiger and Zilvy, sorry that we missed you both.

Tigerlady, I am really glad that you
emailed your buyer and asked why she took
2 months to enquire where her purchase was.

Let us know the outcome and what she replies.

Hi Zilvy, we miss your bounce.

Have you met my family, this part sounds
like us.

Oh shoot, I knew I was forgetting something! No, I haven't
written her. I forgot Torture session went ok today.
I'm feeling a little better. On that front things are
ok, but don't ask about the money part DH did however
get all the parts for the computer and put them in it.
Now he just has to set up the software part. I expect
to be zipping along by the end of the weekend (or
someone is filing for a divorce! )

Wow, it's been drizzling off and on here since this
afternoon and now it's pouring! I lost another
one of my bushes this evening too. I lost my last
hibiscus last fall and now my white bougainvilla
has fallen over too. Sigh Why can't it
be the bushes I don't care about??

Mouse why are your bushes falling over,
is the rain too much for them or is there
another reason?

We have had a warm day, but it is starting to
cool off in the evening.
Almost time for me to light that first fire
of the year. Yippee!! Not that I am a fire
bug or anything nasty, but I just love to
look into the flames and sit near it. It
just makes me feel nice and good about myself.

Edited because I am a dingbat. But a nice one. LOL

I love fireplaces too, I wish I had one Maybe someday...
I'm not sure why they're falling over. The hibiscus fell
over about 3 times, the third time it snapped at the
roots. If I remember right, it was very rainy at the time.
So it could have been a combination of wet soil and shallow
roots. Plus that one leaned to one side as it was.
Earlier this afternoon, the wind was gusting very badly.
I was looking at the bougainvilla thinking it was going
to fall over. Sure enough, when the ground got wetter, it did

Hey you two!!!

What have you been up to?

I went window shopping today (the only kind I can do now that I'm saving!) I went and had a look at furniture to see how much I would have to spend when I do get my house. It was fun but frustrating at the same time - I want it all now!!!!! It was good though - it's keeping me motivated

Okay Mouse, we will try and save
your Hibiscus/

Have you tried putting a stake in the ground
and tying the bush to the stake for support?

Then make sure that the base of the plant is
covered with soil. Pat the soil down around
the base to make it firm, but not too hard.

Water base very lightly. You do not need to
water if it is still raining.

This should help you plant so long as it does
not have root rot, from too much water. But
most hibiscus plants are fairly hardy plants,
my family has been know to mow over top of
them when they are little plants and mine
have survived. LOL
