again and I just got back. Twilight Zone anyone?
Hiya Pharlap! I'm glad to see you're being a good girl
Netta, the hibiscus is long gone. It's the white
bougainvilla that fell over this time. Weird too because
the lawn crew pruned the heck out of it a couple of months
ago because it was getting too tall and big (we were
having a hard time getting out the back door). And it
just did sprout a bunch of new leaves and branches the
last couple of weeks I hate my 2 pink bougainvillas,
but no matter how hard we try we can't seem to kill them

See the bush in the middle right up against the house?
That's the one that fell over. I'll try to take a pic
of it tomorrow before hubby tries to save it. Oh and Netta,
that's how we tried to save the hibiscus, but like I said
the last time it fell over it snapped at the roots

Oops my mistake Mouse, now I can not
tell you anything about Bougainvillas. My
husband hate them, so we don't have any.
Okay Moderator did you zap that second post
or is Miss Mouse magic. LOL

Mouse, I am no expert, but does it
have very good drainage, maybe that has
something to do with it.
You know who may be able to tell you, Bob, I bet he is a fountain of information.
LOL About gardening I mean.

Well this has been informative - now I know where
to go when I need gardening advice (need a garden
first!) I'm a hopeless gardener - I managed to
kill a little potted cactus once

I was mortified!!! This was in my early teens.
I desperately wanted a little potted cactus but
when I bought it I just forgot all about it...
Found it one day all shrunken and pathetic
looking

Pharlap, we are all hopeless in the
garden at first. Well except those smart
people that seem to know everything straight
away.
I have killed so many plants, I have lost
count. LOL

Sorry guys', I got side tracked by the
Phone. Does anyone want a sister in law.
She is going cheap, like for free even.
I am just fed up with all the fighting and
garbage going on over my MIL's will.
They are so petty, and have to fight over
every little thing. My MIL left me and one of my sister's in law some things and I am
so upset because they are ready to take it to court so that we do not get to keep these
treasured items. I have told them that I
am willing to walk away and not take my gift
but they just have to fight all the time.
You know what hurts the most, I thought I
was family as well, I thought after all of
these years that we were not just in laws
but friends. Well haven't I learnt an
important thing, there are no friends when
a will is concerned.
My MIL would be so ashamed of them, it
makes me want to be sick just thinking
about them.

Do I want your sister in law???
No thanks! I've had one of those creatures before
and she is about as pleasant as the one you
have
That's rotten that this is happening. I know
I would be extremely upset if I were in your
position... Just to have a little something to
remind you of your friendship can't be too much
to ask surely???

Isn't it horrible when people act like that? The worse
thing that has happened in my family was when my
grandmother died. My uncle was the executor of the estate.
His wife was a liar and a thief and when my mom and aunt
found out that she was talking my uncle into pilfering
some of the money, they went to court to take the estate
out of his hands. To make sure it was divided properly.
The saddest part is shortly afterwards, he committed suicide
On April Fool's day no less! But the suicide was more
a depression and substance abuse problem than anything else.

Oh, and her bad karma caught up to her later. She got
with another guy and he ended up cleaning out what she
had left. Talk about justice!

One of the items that was left to me is
worth a bit, but I did not ask for it and
in fact I did not even know about it until
after the will arrived in the mail.
They think that because I am only a DIL I
am not really entitled to it. Well my MIL
wanted me to have this thing and I want it
because it is a memento not because of the
value of the thing. I am so sick of greed.
They all knew that my MIL wanted me to have
this item long before she passed away, she
never told me she wanted me to have it, but
some of the others have told me, everytime
she took this thing out, she would say that
she wanted to give it to me. I am very
happy that she loved me enough to want to
leave me something, but I will not fight
the family and cause anymore of a rift.
It is just not in my nature. I will walk
away from the lot, and I just told my
husband that once again a short time ago.

Why the hell do people even bother writing one
when anyone can contest it??? I think your MIL
would be very disappointed with them if she
could see them now

You know what, we expected them to fight.
We knew that they would carry on over stupid
little things, because they did the same
thing when Greg's dad passed away.
I just did not think that I would be in the
middle of a big greedy fight. I refuse to
go to court over this, I will not demean my
MIL over a piece of gold. Let them have it,
and let them be the one's that have to
answer later when they met there maker.
Oh yes I forgot to tell you, most of my SIL's
are very religious. LOL What a joke, who
is the better christian? None of them that
is for sure.
Anyone got some good news.

Ok - here's a joke to cheer you up!!!
An American, a Canadian, and a Chinamen were on an airplane. While flying over his home country the American says, "I throw penny's down at my country for good luck!" And away he throws it. They are now flying over Canada and the Canadian says, "I throw nickel's down at my country for good luck!" And away he throws it. Flying over China now the Chinamen says, "For good luck I throw a bomb down at my country!" And away he throws the bomb. The Canadian and the American don't know what to say at this stupid act. So they don't say anything at all. The three get off the plane, each in their home country. The American see's a little girl crying and asks, "Why are you crying?" She replies, "I was walking down the street when a penny hit me on the head! It hurt!" The American walks away thinking there is no chance that could happen. The Canadian see's a little boy crying and asks, "Why are you crying?" He says, "I was riding my bike when a nickel hit me in the arm and it's bleeding!" The Canadian walks away thinking there is no chance that could happen. The Chinamen see's a boy laughing his head off and asks, "Why are you laughing?" The boy replies, "My mom farted and the house blew up!"

So what does everyone have planned for the
weekend. I have to work tomorrow, but will
take some time out to go to the shops.
Such an exciting life I lead.
I have to get all my books ready for the
accountant. I hate all this tax rubbish.
They charge me money to prepare the thing,
and then they expect me to pay the tax man
as well. Life is not fair.

So Nettak - how does it feel to be a tax collector
for the government (lazy bastards! )
I'm working all weekend - 10.00am-8.45pm both
days. Hoping to wake myself up early enough
on Sunday to go to a car boot sale beforehand.

You know in years to come, we are going to
see meeting places all over the country,
and they are going to be for stressed out
business people like me. LOL
We will have to stand up just like in an AA
meeting and say "Yes I was a tax collector",
oh the shame in it, I can just imagine the
look of horror on everyones faces.
We will be shunned by our friends, they will
think we are government agents and friends
with little John. OMG!! I am so
ashamed.
Get the picture. I HATE IT.
