She wouldn't have asked to be suspended if SaraW hadn't moderated her post that insulted the THREAD. I just re-read it and still can't believe that it was moderated---no wonder Snowy went ballistic.
and no--I have no desire to email a moderator---they can email me if they so desire.
and just so my post is on topics---I ate my first Peep tonight and then I microwaved the second one---that was cool.

I turned it off after 30 seconds---it was getting scary, They get REALLY REALLY big!!!

I just have to get this off my chest.
I have to agree with Zazzie, I saw the first post of Snowyday's and found nothing offensive about it. I went away for a short while and came back to bedlam. Much of which would not have happened if the first post of Snowydays had not been deleted. I do not believe that Snowy would have asked for posting to be suspended except for those deleted posts were a last straw.
Now on to topic. Did you taste them after you microwaved them, what did they taste like??

If a moderator wishes to speak to me regarding my comments on inept moderation---they are most welcome to email me. But I will not start the email exchange.
But I will repeat---Snowy would not have gone off the deep end if her post calling a "THREAD" stupid had not been deleted an moderated. She was addressing the post not the poster---just as requested by AW. You have more to correct that just putting the deleted posts back in the thread.

My 8 year old daughter made a very special breakfast this AM; A Pink Peep Omlet (she used 16 of 'em). Now, I must see the dentist again, as there should be a law against so much sugar in shuch a little peeper.

edited to add: I agree with Zazzie also; when much worse statements go "unmoderated", and the statement about thesubject gets "moderated", and even though snowy got zapped when asked, there is definately something wrong there.

Pharlap I am sending your Peeps Express post first thing Tuesday so you will be able to try them on Wednesday (our time), and you can give us your verdict. LOL 
I am going to microwave one tonight, I will tell you later if it helps the taste.

Nettak - no need to go to the expense of express post!!! Regular mail will do (usually only one day from Bris to GC anyways) I can learn to be patient

Of coarse I did, but I fed most of it to the dogs when she went outside. Didn't want to hurt her feelings, and I ate 7 bites in front of her, but even with my cast iron stomach I could not handle it! Thank God the peeps only come once a year, although I melted and froze some last year, kinda like what we used to do with jello-used toothpicks and everything. Big hit at the kids b-day parties.
