This little blurb always makes me chuckle for reasons I've noted in this AuctionWatch Feedback message:

ROTFLMAO.

I am glad I found you, sure do miss your daily quote for the day.........

Coolvette is not paranoid. I have known this person over 2+ years now....he is a very stand-up, honest person, who happens to be very intelligent (subtle - very subtle).

I dislike bb more than almost anyone I know......Coolvette likes bb very much.
That doesn't change the fact that we are friends, and respect one another for how we are, plain and simple. We are adults, we just like to play in different venue's. No big deal.

Hackers, well they are everywhere. I don't think they would want to get into auction sites except to steal credit card information, or Passswords. You should always change your passwords regularly anyway, for that reason.

Actually here is a hacker link for you...There are hundreds and hundreds of them. Actually, this one is particularly interesting.

Have a good day, and stop over and grab some laughs...or please leave some.
I really do miss your daily quote...I look forward to them.

I have found in life that the opinion we hold of another greatly depends on how we have been treated by that person.

LOL! I think this whole thing is a riot. I've been sitting here reading all the posts by current members and suspended CEOs and find none interesting or having new information. The numbers are still bogus, they're still having terrible site problems and will continue to have them because, in my opinion, they're getting *paid back* for the way they treat people. When they stop their tactics, perhaps the site will miraculously come together.

I feel sorry for the people who use BidBay image hosting on ebay and actually have huge BidBay's error messages on their auctions instead of pictures. I've seen them at ebay myself and how they think they can get sales, I don't know. I feel for the folks that trust the site and keep getting screwed around. They don't really know the difference between honesty and cheating. They have false hopes.

dadnmom, do you actually know Coolvette or do you just know him through his posts? If you only know him through his posts, you don't really know him at all do you? Can you vouch for him? Would you stand up in court for him? If not, then I don't think he needs defending against anyone who posts their opinions here. I don't know if he's smart or just book learned; I don't know if he's actually honest or not. I just read his written word and form opinions about what he writes. In real-life, he may be someone totally different. He may be someone I'd love or someone I'd hate or never even look at twice. Do you know him personally? Have you met him? If not, how can you say this:

"..he is a very stand-up, honest
person, who happens to be very intelligent (subtle - very subtle)."

No one really knows another through postings! As a matter of fact no one really knows another until they live with them in the same house. That's something my mom taught me. You may "think" you know a person, but once you live with that person, you then really know him/her.

I hope you don't misunderstand what I'm trying to convey. I have to be very careful with my words so they don't reflect any thing from other threads or boards.

Have a nice day!

Everyone,

As you all know, discussing individual posters is not allowed per our CGs. Please discuss the topic, not the individual.

If you have issues with any poster, please consider making use of your ignore button.

If the personal comments continue, I will have no choice but to issue warnings and lock the thread.

Welcome back MTNMAMA!

I can't believe the image problems they are having. I have seen them, they are terrible! Huge error splashed all over the page and the rest of the sellers text is unreadable. The worst part is GT is denying that the problem still exists! Said it was fixed! I would be so upset!

Hope you are feeling better with each passing day. Yes, we all have to be careful in our postings!

I agree with you on not really knowing someone that you think you might. I certainly learned alot when I married. Some good, some bad!

So sorry Pat, but if you read beyond my post, you'll see that dadnmom managed to defend a poster, rather than stick to the topic at hand. I was merely replying to that post.

Deichen, isn't that the truth? Sometimes even when you live with someone, it's a hard call to make.

AllyKat, you know there were times we agreed on a lot of things. Why make it sound so bad?

Now before I get suspended once again for saying something I'm not supposed to say (whatever that may be today), I'll leave you to fight amongst yourselves! LOL!

I left Bidbay some time ago! But I do go back once in a great moon to shop "So far no listings for what I collect." They are making changes some good some bad for some reason they love to play games and seem very much in to trying to controll. All I have been saying is (.1) Be honest with people give correct numbers on the front page dont mislead them "People are not stupied." (.2) Get read of the games it dont help sales it is just another way to play the numbers game. (.3) Answer questions good or bad sometimes great things happen. "Dont kill the messenger." (.4) Stop playing favorite treat all sellers & buyer the same. (.5) Put your money in the site not games maby it will help you be more effective. There is more but these five will do for now.
I dont no what it will take maby a change in management maby a larger then normal drop in listings but changes must be made to bring Bidbay in to the net as a auction site. They can become a good site keep there buyers & sellers and grow and prosper everthing is pretty well in place. What do you think? Have a nice buying/selling day.

mtnmama: It is nice to see you back. I am really glad you are feeling better.

As far as my relationship with Coolvette goes, that is a very personal question, and I will not answer it. I am sorry if that offends you, it is not meant to do that.

I am just glad you are back, and doing better. I hope the road to recovery is not to difficult for you.

The road I am going to take here, is the high road. You have always been nice to me on the boards, and I have nothing but nice things to say to, or about you.

As the topic is 'Shopping at BidBay', and I don't do that, as I was (looking back - very happily) a very long ago was 'deleted' from there, I better finish this up, and save it for another time. Have a happy day, and evening.

"AllyKat, you know there were times we agreed on a lot of things. Why make it sound so bad?"

It was said with humor!
Without discussing moderation issues on the boards I would like to just say I REALLY would like to see the same rules apply to EVERYONE equally. Where have we heard that before????

dadandmom, oh come on now! A very personal question and you won't answer? I don't buy it and do feel that if you're going to defend one person over another in a public forum and state what you say are facts about the person in that same forum, then whatever kind of relationship you seem to have, you have made public. Therefore my questions are valid. However, if you don't wish to answer in a public forum, then you shouldn't have brought your relationship into it.

JMHO

AllyKat, absolutely correct! All should be treated equally, however --- as we both know that is never the case.
