I hardly ever come to this playground anymore, but every time I stop by, somebody takes the ball away and we can't play anymore.
So there we are, standing with our mitts ready, bats held to the sky, and the pitchers have no balls.

Yeah. They disappeared a post with no explanation on another thread... Without moderation...just poofed it.
I dunno. Normally I could care less...been through this stuff too many times. Still. I'm getting irritated.

I was thinking (sometimes that can be dangerous, I admit) that it may behoove the PTB to let things stand. After all, it is the sharp eyes of the current posters here who catch what may otherwise be missed by those same PTB.

Well, it's still my favorite playground.

Problem is, I think, that the post was not bad enough to warrant shutting down the whole thread, yet the post was bad enough to warrant doing something. Not wishing to moderatate a favored status poster, the only option was to zap the post without comment.
At least that is MHO

Inside: The poster might have been moderated by e-mail. Several days ago SgtMike abruptly disappeared after posting a certain gif.

I believe that was my post. Since you are discussing it here, I believe
that I should have the right to defend myself. The poster that I
directed that comment to has constantly been harassing me for the
last three months. I have a folder of his comments which were unprovoked but based on his political agenda which does not agree
with mine.
But instead of focusing on the topic, he has persisted in insulting
my character...my ability to write, my spelling, my grammar and generally inferring that my thinking is irrational. Now, if you were
subject to this sort of harassment, I believe that you might resort
to name calling also when nothing else works.
He was able to get by with his insults by couching them in evasive
wording, designed to evade moderation.
So, today after returning from the grocery store, I found that my
post had just been zapped with no explanation.
Butterfly, you stated that you pasted it to mail box. What do you
mean by that...did you tattle to the moderators. Is that what you
meant?

Toke, there doesnt seem to be alot left here. You may be right. Inside's opinion is my own too, that instead of wombing the whole thread, they just did the post?
If this keeps up, there will only be about 10 posters left talking to themselves.
