I'd, you know, force myself.
I'd have to clear it with my sweetie first. I'm sure she'd be into Hug an Australian Day but she'll probably wanna hug some Australian too.

I didn't know about this this.
I've cancelled my golf day, bought some fresh shampoo, new deodorant and toothpaste and I'm going to tough it out and make myself available all day (and night) long.

I didn't know this day existed!!!
If I tell the hubby about it, he'll just think I'm making it up and am after something.
Usually something that costs him money.

zilvy, Most wallabies are over six feet tall, have muscles where most of us don't even have places and are evil, mean an nasty to overseas visitors!
This is what they normally wear.

Now why does everyone assume I'm an ex pat....
zilvy I'm a born, bred and still residing Australian. It's never been a secret - everyone just assumes that I'm in the US or Canada and since no one asked I just let you all assume! The late night crowd picked up on it when I kept finding those TimTam & Vegemite links and knew what Milo was

Hey my son was on a "Mission" in Australia for 2 years for our church. He loved it.
He did say he didn't understand a word anyhone said for the first 2 weeks, sounded like a foreign language to him, but he loved every minute he was there.
Is he close enough. I could hug him.
