Am I supposed to feel blessed for being "forgiven"? I dont believe I asked for any forgiveness, so you can keep it Helen. BTW, I feel privileged to be partnered with Irene.
Edited to fix my privileged status.

Still have that knack for venomous posts, eh?
I didn't notice much of what you say happened here, but
even if it did and is not just your
einterpretation of what others posted, so what?
If you can come here and voice your opinion as you have,
do you want to deny that same
priviledge to others?
Earnhart died as he lived, probably in the manner that he
would have chosen if he could.
I don't find tragedy in that.
Most of the objection that I did see in boards (not this
one) was to the great attention
paid to him at the same time that 24 U.S. Marines died in
an accident with only a
passing notice anywhere except at their homes, by members
of their families.

posted on May 21, 2001 11:52:22 AMThe Ant & The Grasshopper - The Inside Story
Once upon a time, the Ants owned all the land and the Grasshoppers were made to work upon the land for the leisure of the Ant Class. This was only made possible by the labor of the Grasshoppers who tilled the land, planted the food, and harvested it, with 90-percent going to the Ants as "Fair Taxation". What bothered the Ants most was that although the Grasshoppers suffered much indignities and hardships due to the callous over-lordship of the Ants, the Grasshoppers still found time to sing and to dance about.
Then came the winter of the Grasshopper's despair, for the potatoes grew no more and they starved. The hungry Grasshoppers went to the mansions of the Ants to beg for some of the food that they had grown to survive and the Ants replied in-between mouthfuls of the foods that they had collected from the backs of the Grasshoppers to "go to Hell!"
And so it remained, the Grasshoppers starved and lived in poverty and misery unending. That is, until the King of the Ants passed away and a new Ant - the most autocratic of them all turned out to actually care for the welfare of the Grasshoppers! This angered the rest of the Ants, who sat about and spent their lives at leisure. They were angry that the riches that they had collected from the sweat and pain of the Grasshoppers in the fields, they now were forced to give back some of it, even though they could never eat it all themselves. Such is the way with people who have more money than anyone needs to live upon.
The first thing that the Ants did was to re-write the story of the Ants and the Grasshoppers. They called the industrious Grasshoppers untrue names like Lazy and "uneducateable", a new Ant word, and howled about the horrors of someone who was down on their luck being handed a simple bowl of food! And in the Year 2000, they even convinced many Grasshoppers to stuff so many ballot boxes with the name of the Ant's own candidate that the Ants had purchased and cheated so hard with Ant connections in the court system, that they finally got one of their own back inside!
Now the Ants are once again on top, running everything as they please and making sure that the Grasshoppers descend to the bottom once again to slave for them. How will this story end? That's up to you!
