Put the lime in the coconut!
We have the album!!!...... Our son thought we were making this up, until we played the record for him.
Shows we are not the only ones with an "unique sense of humor"

I found my thrill, on blueberry hill, on blueberry hill, when I found you.

Wonder why in our younger years we had this thing about fruit? I guess because we had no need for the poppy fields in those days?

The Beetles were into fruit too. What bothers me is, Paul was a teenager, when I was an adult.

My generation used to sing about fruit. Now we're lucky if we can eat it, and hold it down.

Having been child slave labor and made to wipe dishes by my older sisters, while listening to Make Believe Ballroom, anything other than Gleen Miller, Guy Lombardo or Benny Goodman is all "new style music".

"Yes we have no bananas"
"I've got a lovely bunch of dumb coconuts."
And some short bread

Are we back into fruit again? Okay, how about this?

Who was a famous named fruit? And I don't mean Grapey, or a slang derogatory expression. An actual fruit name.

CharlieOne- gosh, I give up!! tell us!!

granee- the Resevoir Dogs is a movie written & directed by Quentin Tarantino (early 90's.) It starred Harvey Keitel, Chris Penn, Michael Madsen (an others I'm forgetting.) I didn't think the movie was that great- In my opinion Pulp Fiction & Jackie Brown were lots better. But I have no stomach for violence and it was a pretty violent movie, I had to fastforward through a lot of it.

I might not have liked the movie but the soundtrack is great!! wonder if anyone has it listed?

granee

The 'Resevoir Dogs' is a movie, unless some group also copied the name. That would be no surprise today, after 'ice cube', 98 degrees, etc.

I wonder why nobody has picked 'Bodily fluids', 'Coranary arteries', or 'Blood plasma'? I guess those would only work with my age group.

EDIT: Oops, sorry CAgrrl. I submitted after you answered about the movie, (on the phone for a while).

ANSWER: Chuck BERRY

My son's and I went to a 50's remake Diner, and I played "My Ding-a-Ling" for them. The were shocked that this was even a song! Do any of you remember this one?
By the way my lime slice comes and goes, so I never know when I will get fruit
