Danny, I think that's great that you'll accept payment by check or money order as this will probably help many sellers. I know personally it's handier for me to pay my auction fees from my credit card instead of driving 10 miles to snail mail payment.
Having one option of verification through PayPal isn't such a bad thing, either. However, I think one thing to keep in mind is that there are several people who aren't and never will be verified through PayPal because they don't want to give PayPal a checking account. I wanted the added convenience that PayPal gives me and wanted to become verified, so I used a different account than our main checking. There's no way I would want PayPal hooked up to the regular checking account we have.
Now, I have one more question. In the Perl Auction script when you send out a billing to a seller to collect any fees they owe, they're automatically blocked from listing any more items until their invoice is paid. Have you come up with a work-around for this feature? Do you have a work-around for this? Also, I seem to remember that the original script was set to collect interest on any unpaid amount. The original setting compounded the interest just about every two hours if memory serves.
