I had a woman who won a total of 5 auctions from me over a 2 day period in May. The first e-mail she sent me had music attached, and locked up my computer, so I asked her not to send any more e-mails with music attached. She stalled on paying for them for a week by saying that she wanted to see if she was interested in any of the other items I was listing. Then she stalled on paying for two more weeks by saying that Paypal had caused her to bounce checks by taking an e-check out of her checking account instead of her Paypal account, so both her checking account and Paypal account were messed up. She asked if I would let her out of the auctions without negative feedback or being reported for non-payment. I told her that I would have to report the non-payment to get my fees refunded. So she sent me another e-mail with music attached, and this one killed my e-mail program. The whole thing locked up, and had to be removed and reinstalled, so I lost all my saved e-mail. I went out of town for a couple days, and when I got back, she had sent payment through Paypal the night I left. BUT, instead of sending $4 to cover postage, she only sent $2, and told me to send the items first class with no insurance or DC. I was ready to be rid of her, so I paid the difference of what the $2 didn't cover, and sent the items insured first class. A few days later, she sent me another e-mail with attachments. I e-mailed her that I would not open anything from her with attachments, to please re-send the message without attachments. She sent it with attachments again. I repeated my message, and did not hear anything else from her. Eight days after she paid, she filed a complaint with Paypal stating that she had not received her merchandise. I replied to Paypal with the whole story. Two days later, I got an e-mail from her stating that she had received her items the day after she made the complaint, thank you, but why had I sent her money back? I checked my Paypal account, and they had deducted the money from my account and refunded it to her!!! She e-mailed last night, and said that she had informed Paypal that she had received her items. She also said that these were the nicest of these type items that she had ever gotten, it was too bad that *I* had treated HER so badly, because she would have bought a lot of stuff from me. And she mentioned that she had left me feedback, it wasn't negative, because I did "eventually" send her stuff, and she would appreciate positive feedback from me. I checked and sure enough, she left me four neutrals, saying things like nice items, but 2 weeks shipping time and poor communication. Positive feedback? What do you think?

I can answer that one easy. It takes bandwidth and it is annoying. She was asked nicely not to do it and continued anyway. What good is it if it is not welcome and crashes your machine? Common sense should answer that one.

Neutral FB at best

I agree with one of the statements left earlier. NEG her for all you can and then block her. This woman is a nutcase.

To return her the favor (and yes I know this isn't nice) sign up for a Yahoo! mail account, find a nice 500k .WAV file and email it to her about 400 times from from that address. Once you've uploaded the file you can send it over and over again. I have a Yahoo! account that I use specifically for that purpose. That should take care of her sending any emails for a while and perhaps even teach her a lesson.

Best of luck to you.
