Sold a large item to Haystackco and listed the shipping charge as $15 for UPS Ground Delivery. At the UPS office, I realized that they had only provided me w/ an undeliverable POBox address. Since it was nearing Xmas, I was nice (and stupid)for I went ahead and sent it USPS Parcel Post, for an additional cost of $8.50. When advised of my add'l costs, they refused to pay. When pressed, they practically laughed in my face...They got over! Since they do alot of business, you'd think they would be more professional!

I think we've all been caught up in that at one time or another. Honesty seems hard to come by these days.

Unfortunately for you that you changed the terms of the agreement.
Since he didn't ask you to switch shipping companies costing you more he in no way was obligated to send you more money.
What you should have done is taken the package home and gotten A STREET ADDRESS as everyone knows UPS doesn't ship to PO Boxes. If you didn't know that..... well it was an $8.50 lesson. Now that you do know make sure all future listings specify that for UPS shipping no PO Boxes. http://www.lovepotions.com
