I bought a laptop on one of their auctions. I wanted it shipped to England for me to use while I'm there for several months. After a month it had still not arrived at my host's home.
I called a couple times and was told it had been sent. When I called the last time, they told me they'd send it out this Friday, more than 30 days after I purchased it.
They also informed me at that time that it was going to cost me $150.00 for shipping!!!! Surface would have cost a small fraction of that and it would have been there by then.
I was told that the reason it took so long for them to send it was that they didn't actually have their merchandise in stock -- they auction it off, then order from their supplier. Their supplier was out of stock on the item I bought.
Is this legal??? Does anyone know who I can contact for some redress on this issue, for example, I should be refunded for the price for shipping by air, since it will have taken five weeks to get there.
