One of the kittens is now loose but the bag is not empty.
Coming October 12, Auction Universe will become Auctions.com with a new slick look and feel plus additional new features.
While there are numerous changes -- Auctions.com has a new, fresh look -- Auctions.com is still operated by the same people who brought you Auction Universe. The features that have made us a great site remain.
We are simply taking this opportunity to improve the site to better meet the needs of our users.

What will the next kitten be? The site looks good - but I am afraid the lack of bidders seems the same...but will await another "kitten"
No one knows better than I that we need to bring buyers. That's the $64,000 question, isn't it
I've been working on something along those lines and I've been testing it a bit elsewhere.
I haven't mentioned it here before because of propriety and decorum.
But I've since been in touch with the folks at AW and they gave me the green light to try it out here.
Watch this space for a kitten ... maybe tomorrow, for the intro. I can only say that at least some folks have found it exciting.
Got a few things to do tonight or I'd pop it out of the bag for you now. It's a calico kitten for sure
Just so there's no question about it, auctionuniverse.com is no longer an active site. If you click on www.auctionuniverse.com, you will be transported to www.auctions.com.
Some sellers and others may have links that no longer work. If you have a link to your auctions at the old auctionuniverse.com, post here or post me personally and I'll give you the new "working" code for such links.
Finally, you'll also notice that the links on my signature have changed.

Will watch for the calico kitten - I realize this is as frustrating for you as it is for AU users. Best wishes
I've been head over heels booked doing a similar set of contests on a competing site. I posted the notice here but it will take a little time for the word to get around.
However, as you probably get an email response on this, take note and notice. A supersnipe auction is set for 8:45 p.m. There'll be a few folks vying for $100 cash. Consider this your invite. Check the forum here (another thread) on AW and let me know your thoughts.
My goal is to do these contests only via word of mouth and let them grow naturally.
