This supersnipe auction will go live at approximately 8:45 tonight on www.auctions.com.http://www.auctions.com

The prize to the lucky bidder is $100 credited to the credit card they have on file at auctions.com.

The auction category will appear under the main category: Other Collectibles.

The auction sub category is also "Other Collectibles"

Look for an auction that says "Snipe"

The auction will be a "for sale" auction format. A total of 15 items are offered. The winner will be the eighth person to successfully bid as listed by the system.

The bid amount will be $1.00 but there is no purchase obligation.

ANY BIDDER BIDDING ON A QUANTITY OF MORE THAN ONE ITEM will be automatically disqualified from winning this contest.

ANY BIDDER BIDDING MORE THAN ONCE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.

NOTICE: This is a beta test of the Supersnipe auction format. I don't know of a similar instance in which any online system has been tested in this way. If the system crashes, then I'm a heap of trouble

However, my discussions suggest that this will not be an issue.

Of course everyone will bid the opening or For Sale bid amount.

These rules are also presented in the item listing.

Good luck.

Pat

Katie:

thanks for playing. If you know someone else, they'd still have a chance. Everyone is sitting back waiting for the other to post.

Its a ripe one for someone!

Fact is, bidding is stalled at five bidders so the third bidder between now and midnight will be the winner.

for real.

WE've got a winner but if you want to bid on this one, go ahead. I need the auction closed and bids are the easiest way.

The winner's identity is at present unknown, other than by their email. If they found out about the contest here, well, howdy
