The problem I have with this is that the bidder is in Aus. and couldn't be a Bidsafe member even if he wanted to. I looked at the "View your BidSafe Activity" and nothing shows up, but the way the e-mail reads I am supposed to ship this out right away. I DON'T THINK SO! And I sure don't want to pay an extra 3.5% for nothing!
HELP!!!!!!

This kind of reminds me of the old Readers' Digest (I think) page entitled, "Pardon, your slip is showing."
Yep Magik, that form comes whenever there is a winning bidder in an auction where BidSafe was a bid alternative.
The proper procedure here is to contact the bidder and make arrangements as this was actually a standard auction format transaction (Bidder was not BidSafe.)
I've seen this happen a couple of times before and it is particularly inappropriate when the seller was trying to list a BidSafe Only auction or sale item. (Fact is, it has happened to me)
I would ask if you were trying to offer the item as a BidSafe only auction/sale? If so, reply because I need to clarify another point.

Hi Neo!
Well, I have already had some correspondence with the Product Manager, Mike. He indicated it was a problem that shouldn't have happened and it is being checked into.
It is not really that big of a deal, other than I don't want to get in trouble for not shipping the item. I have already been in touch with the winner (he won another item before this one) and we are waiting on one other item to close so I can quote the gentleman a total for shipping to the magical land of Oz. I love Aussie bidders! So far I have encountered only nice polite folks from there who pay quickly and don't give me any hassles. I wish I could say the same for my USA bidders.......
And no it wasn't a Bidsafe only. Had pretty much every option checked (except the credit cards) + Bidsafe. Seems like it was just a glitch. But it sure made me freak when I read it. One of these days I hope I get a real Bidsafe transaction, but it won't be today.
