How do I add a shipping calculator into my ebay auctions so the potential buyers can enter their zip code and get the shipping, instead of emailing me. I went to my shipping and insurance choices in My Account and thought I had set it correctly. But, the ebay auction I have set to launch tonight is just showing $00.00 for USPS prority shipping. Since shipping over a pound depends on zip codes, I obviously can't enter a predetermined amount for shipping. Help!!
You will need to setup the calculated shipping in your main listing form. You may do this under the "Shipping Carriers" section by selecting one of the calculated shipping options in the drop-down box.
If you continue to have trouble with this, please either let us know the listing number for an active listing, or the name of a pending listing where you are having this problem.

Thanks nathan, i didn't realize that each method of shipping could be either fixed or calculated. that problem is solved. However, i have one more question. How do i add a handling charge to the shipping calculations? Some things that are fragile, need a special box bought, or are very difficult/time consuming to pack require a bit extra in addition to regular shipping. doesa handling charge show separately or is it just added to the shipping?
For calculated shipping you can add a handling charge (or shipping markup) by going to the "Calculated Shipping Options" section of the main listing form (it is located shortly below the "Shipping Carriers" section). Then enter a US shipping markup in the "US Shipping Markup" box. This amount will automatically be added to the shipping charge that the shipping calculator will show.
