A recent announcement from eBay told sellers they would soon REQUIRE that they post a "domestic handling time" (e.g., the number of business days the seller will take between payment for a win and shipment) in all auctions and fixed price sales.

eBay has a little drop-down box on their editing page that just lists 1 business day, 2 business days, etc. and the seller just picks one. I can't remember the date for the implementation, but having this in your auction will become MANDATORY at the same time that having a return policy becomes mandatory. Right now, if I have to edit an auction for some other reason I will put in my "2 business days" during the edit, but in future eBay may not allow the launch without it.

Are you planning to add it to your eBay preparation site? It can be one of those small items we can set once in our account, I think, and then forget about.

Thanks, Val
