I noticed the new announcement at the top of my Sales Manager page about the "New Corporate Website and Vendio Platform". I don't see a link to the new platform on the old Sales Manager page and when I try typing in the web address and starting fresh, I can't login at all...I get "error on page" in the lower toolbar on the left above my "start" button. It won't let me in at all. Am I in the right place?
You appear to be logged in currently, did you have to access the login page a different way than you usually do in order to finally log in and be able to post this message?
We'll forward on a note about the error message your reporting seeing as im not sure if this was tested specifically on the Win98 OS running IE5.5. Chances are IE6 was the furthest backwards that the testing would have included as a default.
Note that you may be able to work around that by running FireFox Version 2, which was the last version they made that supported the Windows 98 operating system. (http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php)
To see the promo tour page that the announcement is referencing, you can click here to be taken directly to that page. Currently this is in beta with brand new customers only.
Taken from the announcement: "What does this mean for your existing Vendio Services? Do not worry, you will continue to be able to login from the Vendio homepage as always, and from there you will still be able to navigate to your existing and familiar Vendio applications. We understand that you may ultimately want to migrate to this new Platform. The Vendio team is hard at work developing tools to help you do this."

Looks like you hit the nail on the head there. I am on a Windows 98 OS with IE 5.5 and I don't download ANYTHING on this computer and I haven't for 10 years. It works perfect like it is and I don't want to run the risk of anything happening if I did download...not even if it seems safe like the FireFox browser. So I'm pretty much stuck with the current Vendio platform which is just fine with me. I was just curious to see what the new one looked and acted like.

I just logged in using my husbands computer with Windows XP and IE 7 and I was able to login but don't see any differences on the Control Panel page or Create Listing page...this is what I thought was going to be "new and improved". All I saw were different features a user could access as far as stores and such...some free and some have a fee.
