hello Nathan, thanks for the reply.

you mentioned i had to cut and paste to map the two db's, i.e. Blackthorne into Vendio.

exactly how is that done? paste the Blacthorne field under the relative Vendio field? is that possible in Excel or Access?

i am not sure of the mechanics used to remap the fields or cells.

i understand i can import straight from eBay's active listings into Vendio, but what is lost in the transfer? autotext or variable maintained? image server urls? i used lots of Autotext (variables) so that I would have flexibility in making changes, etc.

Hello Billy,

That is correct. You would need to paste the Blacthorne field under the relative Vendio field, being sure not to change the Vendio column headings. At this point you would need to use Excel.

While it is true that the auto text will be imported within the listing description, you will lose much more data using the import file method than importing from eBay directly (although both methods will likely require making some manual changes to get the items where you would like them).
