Hi all.

I have suddenly had trouble launching anything to my store or EBAY site. The EBAY error simply tells me ubable to launch to EBAY.....when I try to launch to my store it keeps telling to there is an internal error an to try again.

I did notice in the lower left hand corner of Explorer I get a yellow flag..when i click it I get this message:

"Webpage error details

Hello,

eBay is sending back the following error message for your recently submitted items:

"We noticed that you chose to offer credit card as a payment option.
To confirm that you can support this process, please fax a copy of your most recent merchant processing statement to (408) 904-7387.
Please ensure the statement is complete and includes all pages.
Please include your eBay user ID, phone number and email address in the fax so that we can contact you.
While we confirm your merchant credit card account, you can continue listing items on eBay with PayPal as the payment method.
PayPal is convenient to use and offers buyers and sellers protection against fraud, chargebacks, and theft of financial data."

When was the last time you tried to post your items?

The error message mentioned above is from the 18th, and a recent preview didn't seem to be bringing up this same error, but we wouldn't know for sure without trying to list an item to eBay and see if they still kick it back with this error message or not.

Regards,
Chris

Hello,

Did you post it TO the same eBay ID you were trying to list it to when you ran into this error? (I believe you have a newer eBay ID your using in one case.)

Did you also list the exact same available payment methods? If you offered only PayPal that would certainly bypass the error they were showing for your item when it last errored out on the 18th.

Chris

Chris,

Ys I did post it to the same EBAY ID.

I did list paypal as the only payment option because it's the only one it would let me do.The problem is that I can't do the same with my Vendio posting.

Hello,

You can easily remove your credit card payment options and then add PayPal back to it instead - by simply editing your payment profiles via the following URL:
http://sell.vendio.com/items/profiles_summary.jsp

Just click the little X's next to the credit card options to remove them, then click the button labeled 'Add another payment method' to add PayPal as your payment method instead.

-------------------

For the error you mention getting when trying to list to your storefront, at what point in the listing process are you getting this message?
For example, does it come up specifically after you click something? (what?)

Chris:
I already have 2 profiles set up..1 has Paypal Only and the other has Paypal & my merchant account...neither work...

I have noticed that my problems seem to occur when I make any changes to my payment profile..such as shipping amount...

I have have the same issues whether I use Explorer or Firefox.

It is now driving me nuts.

Hello,

I checked your payment profiles, and noticed that your "Paypal1" profile (the one that doesn't have credited cards selected as payment options) also has the text "We accept Credit cards and PayPal for Payments" entered into the "Payment Policy" box. Please try removing all reference to credit cards from the payment profile (including the above referenced text), and should the item still fail to launch let us know the name of the most recent item where this problem has happened. (The item that you tried to launch with the "Paypal1" payment profile after removing the text "We accept Credit cards and PayPal for Payments" from the profile.)

Nathan

When I finished and pressed launch I got the following message yet again...

"Internal Server Error. Please try again in a moment, or contact Customer Service. [Track Id:1269451339232]"

I was using Firefox ver 3.58

My Profiles loaded are :

Shipping UPS Ground
Payment PayPa1
Tax California
Profile Policy The #1

Hello,

I checked your account, but I was unable to locate the item "Supersonic SC-186D 7” Portable TFT LCD Display with DVD/CD/MP3, AM/FM, USB & SD Card Slot". Are you able to save the item successfully? Or are you also getting this error message when attempting to save? If you were able to successfully save the item, please let us know the SKU. Also, do you get an error message when trying to do an eBay preview of the item?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

Since the item is not saving, it is not possible for us to view the item, unfortunately. Do you also get a similar error message when trying to do an eBay preview of the item? Are you able to save if you set the item to not be visible on the Vendio Store? Also, do you get the same error message when trying to use a different browser (such as Internet Explorer), or only when using Firefox?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

I was able to create and save an item in your account without error using the profiles that you have referenced. Using those same profiles, please create a test item changing only the following fields, entering the information provided, and let us know whether or not it saves successfully:

In the Item Info section:
- Title = Vendio Test
- Quantity in stock = 1
- Price = 0.01
- Item Description = Vendio Test
- Store Category = select and add "Animals" as the category

In the eBay Info section:
- Category # = 14111
- Price (Starting Bid) = 0.01
- Quantity per listing = 1

Other than selecting the profiles you referenced earlier, please try making no other changes and let us know whether or not the item saves without error.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

My best guess at this point is the length of the title that you are entering. Please try entering a very short title for the item, with all other information being the same that you entered when you had the problem, and let us know whether or not you get the same results.

Nathan

It's back! I went several days having no problmes at all posting to either my store or EBAY but now it's back and I can't post to either one. I am really tired of this and I guess I need to find another avenue?

I have tried everything you guys suggested plus my own ideas and things I have read on other sites but I guess I have some sort of Hex
or Voodo curse.

Hello Cecil,

What is the title of one of the items that you are having trouble with currently? Also, are you able to successfully launch items that already exist in your account, or is this problem happening for those items as well?

Regards,
Nathan

Very frustrating and driving me crazy. That's what I get, once again, when I try to save/launch to me store. Have not tried EBAY but I;m sure it will tell me "cannot post to EBAY"

One other thing that may not matter but I am no longer with Amazon but I still have my account set up with Vendio. In my mind my current issues began when I ended Amazon. Is there a way to delete my Amazon info. Thanks!

Hello,

It looks like the item in question is already live on eBay - have you since been able to edit/save/launch it without this error message?

Also, when does the error your referring to come up. Are you just selecting the item/s in question and clicking the 'send to' button from the items page, or editing the item to indicate that you want to make it visible in the store and getting the error message when you click the 'save and publish' button?

Having an Amazon account ID stored on file and not using it won't have any effect on this.

In case the issue is browser related, you could try upgrading your copy of FireFox to the most recent version available for your operating system - which would be the 3.6.

From the 'help' menu at the top of your FireFox page, you can click the 'Check for updates' link to see if one is available and install it - then try the same tasks and see if the issue persists.

Chris

Chris,

I think I fixed the problem. I eliminated the use of Lots and that appears to have fixed the issue. I don't know why but I'm happy I can save and launch..for now at least lol.
